I'm suffering from #1 and #2. I'm a completely new Cakewalk user. I bought Sonar 8 Producer today and registered it via the website, but neither Sonar or Dimension Pro are appearing in the "My Registered Products" list. It says I'm not eligable for an upgrade as well when I try to add the free 8.5 upgrade to the cart and checkout (presumably because of the lack of registration info on the website). Contacted customer services, but no reply as yet. Guess I won't hear anything till after the weekend now. Very frustrating :( Iain

Link to download Elite Packs is not working

aries aries aries aries I am suffering from 2. Yesterday (16/09/09), I received the email 'Your Free SONAR Upgrade Is Here - Introducing SONAR 8.5 Producer'. I checked my registration list and found my recent upgrade to Producer 8 was there. I decided to wait a bit to think what to do, as I could purchase one or more of the SONAR 8.5 Producer Elite Version Upgrades. Today (17/09/09), I checked my registration list and found all my Sonar registrations were missing which go back to Sonar 1. Today (18/09/09), my registration list is back including Sonar Producer 8.0 and Dimension Pro. The Serial numbers are there but Registration Codes are not. On 21/09/09 all my registration codes and serial numbers are in my registraion list. But I am suffering from #1. On Monday (21/09/09) I decided which free upgrade to go for and used my email 'Your Free SONAR Upgrade Is Here' to access the offer. I ended up with "You are not eligible to buy: " on going to the checkout. I upgraded to Sonar 8 on the 31st July 2009 and registered it on 3rd August 2009. I informed Eric who set admin on to the problem (its looks like some computer database glitch). Its now Thursday (24/09/09) and still cannot get my free upgrade order through. It has been sorted. I processed my order half an hour ago. My serial number and reg code for Sonar 8.5 is in my registration list. I have a new problem trying to download the the Elite Packs I purchased on Friday, the link is not working. I keep getting 'Internet Explorer was unable to open this internet site' when doing a 'save as'. A double click gives a HTTP 404 not found error. The link to Free SONAR 8.5 Producer Download For Customers Who Purchased SONAR 8 After 1 July 09 is working. Have informed Customer Services and Eric. Hopefully it will be sorted out on Monday or early next week.

Hi, I am still in that small minority of folks with hosed accounts. Once logged in, I can see purchase history, but no further details. Also, I see no registration data in my account, so I receive the "You are not eligible to buy: " message when I try to purchase 8.5. I also need to download updates of my 8.0 version (I restored from a system crash recently) and I can't get them to work. I appreciate any help you can provide. Thanks................K

Hopefully, next time I post it will be sorted, a working download link will be in place and I will be able to download my Elite Packs..

My issues obtaining the 8.5 update were resolved about a week ago. When I did eventually get dealt with I will stress that I was dealt with effectively. However this thread is still showing that people are still getting the same issues and no official status update here for nearly a month, not even an acknowledgement there ARE clearly issues with the system or an apology to those still affected by it or have been affected by it. My pleas on this particular thread weren't acknowledged either, I eventually received assistance from a post on the eStore forum, after sending several emails to CS via the appropriate forms and directly to CS personnel, which all went unanswered or weren't followed through to a conclusion. As an aside although I have obtained the upgrade, some registrations are still missing from my account which doesn't present any current issues for me other than a minor annoyance having clearly stated previously that this is the case and having re-supplied those registrations via email no less than 4 times. I would have thought that there must somebody in the company big enough by now to step up to the plate and take responsibility here, this isn't Customer Service by any stretch of the title, it's a flagrant disregard of genuinely frustrated paying customers.

I'm suffering from #1 and #2. Bought Sonar Producer 8.0 edition in late August and registered it in september. In my account there are nothing in my registration list (should be Sonar and Dimension Pro). I guess that is why I can not get the free update to 8.5, after placing this free update to shoppping bascet and checking out it says "you are not eligible to buy this product" or something like that.

They fixed mine on Tuesday. I did sent them 2 e-mails letting them know. Took about 1/2 hour to download. (surprised) I am sure they are/were flooded with these requests. Can anyone Order the physical kit? I can't. I'd like to get the DVD. I am planning on wipping comp and doing a fresh install when I get Win 7 64.

Hi, I am looking for a music manuscript program for guitar that will write manuscript music when the instrument is played through a mic or midi set up of some kind. I understand CW has a program like this but after going through as many of the different CW programs available I could never find just one such program without having to buy the whole house. Does this program exist? Thanks!

Problems 1 & 2 for me! I upgraded from Sonar 8 Studio to Sonar 8 Producer , so I should have free upgrade to 8.5. I registered my Sonar 8 Producer, but I was not logged in , so my account only shows Sonar 8 Studio, not Producer, registration and this is preventing me from free download to 8.5! Looks like my Sonar Producer registration is kind of orphan! And If I try to register Sonar Producer under my login, it says serial number is reserverd for another user! I have send note about two weeks ago to http://www.cakewalk.com/About/csr.asp but without result and no response!
