Oh there's no question Beatz, ol pal, that John possesses a sharp, incisive mind and an ability to quickly separate the wheat from the chaff...at least as far as his opinions take him.  That's why it's all the more puzzling why he relentlessly continues to choose to present himself in a public forum in the most unflattering ways possible.  Why is that, John?

I'm not choosing to "present" myself in any particular way, so I can't really give you an answer there.

Perfectly natural.

It's the great ironies that you exhibit John T olpal,

It's the fact that you act exactly as you purport to *think* you don't want people to act.

It's almost fascinating... but already I get Jersey Shore in full color HD.

Yes John T, why do you continue to complain when its really so inneffective. It wont stop anyone on this forum from expressing their opinions; even if they are repetitive, trite and boring to you.

The thing is we complain about a product and our disappointment in it's not living up to our expectation that it work. You complain about the people.

Must be a John thing. This endless need to tell others what they should and shouldn't say. And you John are the worst of all with your constant blessings of approval or denunciations of various posts. Do you think yourself so important that you are in some way entitled to grade others posts as if we had to conform to your standard.

When it's your forum then I'll concede you have that right but until then please mind whatever it is that is your own business.

I neither want nor need to have opinions proferred about my posts. especially from someone whose opinion means little to me.
If I've incorrectly stated something as fact, feel free to correct me on a technical point in a civil way. Other than that it's all opinion and only that.

While I conduct myself within Cakewalk's TOS then i'll remain here and if I choose to complain then that's my business. If you don't want to read my posts you are free to block me as I had you for quite some time in the past and will again now.

I don't expect you to care about my opinion of you. In truth, I don't really have one; I don't know you.

The thing is, the point stands. Whining in the forum doesn't get bugs fixed. You know this.

Of course most of us know that.  But YOU miss the point.  And I'm not wasting any more time on this anyway.

No really, go on, what point am I missing? You agree that complaining in the forum is ineffective, Yet you you continue to do it. Why? This doesn't seem, to me, to be an unreasonable question.

I'm done playin' in the dirt with you John.   Go wind up someone else.

Bub says, "I can honestly say I have never had a single crash while recording on any version of Sonar...It always happens in the editing stage and is normally caused by Bitbridge ... "

For what it is or isn't worth, that has been my experience, except that I have also crashed sometimes when opening projects that were running plug-ins using bitbridge.

Here's a dose of reality for ya-  Every year there is another wave of users that become frustrated and disappear from these forums completely.  This year there seems to be many more complaints than normal.

The bottom line is that life is too short to waste your time using tools that makes you miserable.  At some point you have to just cut your losses.  As an artist you will produce a FINITE amount of art before you die.  How much of that time do you want to waste playing DAW-tech?  Find an app that frustrates you less and you'll have more FUN producing music - it's just too bad that I had to ditch Sonar to fully realize that.

Funny thing I recently had to open up an old Sonar session for a customer and it crashed while opening (froze at 100%) and I just started laughing hysterically like a lunatic.  Told my customer "This is exactly why I stopped using this software"

This thread is hilarious. John T is a great voice of reason, reality, and balance on this board but, he's endlessly attacked by the same core of forumites.

Comparing Cakewalk to lazy congressmen? What's next? Will someone be comparing SONAR to some Nazi war impliment. . . oh, wait.

The corrective psychiatry bill would simply be unfathomable.

Excuse me - you must not speak English.   Do you actually think I was "comparing" Cakewalk to lazy congressman??

Sheesh.   Talk about missing the point as well.  And bringing up Nazis???  Holy cow Batman!

Yet you still troll and waste time posting on a forum dedicated to software which wastes your time, makes you miserable, and doesn't work for you.

Now that's a dose of reality...

Maybe the new users leave because the people here making noise and answering questions are not nearly as helpful or friendly as they think they are?

I know lots of SONAR users who won't step a virtual foot in here.
