Labskaus in Hamburg is a sight to behold. It is brine cured beef, beets, herring, pickles and other stuff pureed to the consistency of baby food, cooked and served with a fried egg and strips of herring. I've had it - and it tastes worse than it looks.
Some people call me Maurice SPLAT Pro lifetime, ADK 6 core 3.6Ghz with 32 GB RAM, SSD 1TB system drive, 3 3TB regular drives for samples, recordings and misc. Behringer X Touch, UAD Apollo Quad. 2 UAD2 Quads PCI (i think - inside the box whatever that is), Console 1. More guitars (40??) and synths (hard and soft) than talent. Zendrum!!!

hmm... that actually looks pretty good. As long as I had some salt/pepper/peice of buttered toast and mayhaps some spicy ketchup/steak sauce. And just to be gross (but I lurves it with eggs and breaky meats) some peanut butter for the toast. No... not sugarless organic shiz... Good ole confectionary sugar laden "Kraft/Jif/etc" PB. Sweet and salty (and nutty) yo!

When I was somewhat young I went up to Martha's Vineyard w a friend of mine . We went up there to party , go to bonfires and do a few of the nude beaches .It was all fun like what you see when young people go on Spring Break . We had gotten invited to a real large party . The price of admission for the party was BYOB w a little extra for others and bring a few buckets of freshly harvested steamer clams off the beach ... The people hosting the party were going to cook all the clams and food . Being a N.Y.City boy , I had no idea you could walk along the beach w a bucket and pic up New England steamer clams by scooping them in with your hand after a little digging . They sure were easy to find because you could see a little breath type of hole in the wet sand . Anyway these guys sure tasted good .....but I did have a hard time with the look ... Let me just put it this way , I stopped going nude at the nude beaches one I realized the clams on the beach were packing some serious Biological Hardware Gee , I wonder if this clam gave the girl the engagement she is wearing Kenny

I was not a fan of creamed corn until I had one of these and realized the caramelimification properties of cream corn... https://www.lafujimama.com/pastel-de-choclo/ This is a weird dish but Oh to the Ehm to teh G-whillickers is it tasty. That was the first recipe that popped up (and had a bunch of historical stuff on the dish to boot) but I used to buy those from a little hole in the wall restaurant in my old hood. Much yum. Epic mouse feelz.

hmm... Pastel de Chodo is a rather unfortunate name however but don't let that deter you. edit: Back to the "I CAN READING" bit... it seems that's actually "Choclo". It's possible I may need a new prescription for my glasses. Ya... that's the ticket. lulz

I used to enjoy Soul Food cuisine every once in a while ... The one dish that separates the men from the boys is a dish called Chitlins Let me put it this way , stick to playing POP and Rock on your guitar if you never ate Chitlins .. Chitlins is the secret Mojo that gives Blues, Funk and Soul Guitar Players their Edge If you ever decide to try Chitlins out ....Be Afraid & I mean very Afraid I ate it once over 40 years ago and not once more ever since . The good news is the house where it was cooked has probably finally aired out by now ... Kenny

I actually got curious about these vile looking jellied salads of yesteryear and looked them up. Turns out the history behind them is quite interesting . Personally I've never eaten one - I was grossed out by dessert jelly as a kid, let alone savory jellies, the thought of which turns my stomach. But I am curious as to what people thought jelly added to the taste of a salad, aside from the aesthetic aspect of using it to "showcase" the ingredients. I can imagine spending the whole meal trying to separate the salad from the jelly, and shuddering at what remained of it in every mouthful. Awful awful stuff.

60 isn't it? Burger (5) + fries (1), x drink (10), or do you have to do it another way round? I never know.

I like a proper pork pie, very occasionally. There's no jelly in them now.

I never thought that it would come to this............. It's Friday night and I've spent actual time looking up why there used to be jelly in pork pies and why there isn't now.

Good catch on the multiplication sign! I missed it. But, your answer is also incorrect. Shakes are 10 each (10 + 10 + 10 = 30) Burgers are 5 each (shake 10 + 5 + 5 = 20) But fries are 2, not 1 (burger 5 + 2 + 2 = 9) So burger plus fries times shake is (5 + 2 x 10), which looks at first like it would be 70 but, in math, the multiplication takes priority (unless there are parentheses), so it's 5 + (2 x 10) or 25.
