Looks like Cake is starting another round of fixing issues with VS-700; I just received emails that several of my reported problems have changed status and are now being investigated ...

Great news, looks like I was right after all, so they are working on and will release the updates in a timely manner as I stated it seems. Now, let me tell you what to expect in one of the coming updates. A fix for what can be identified and reproduced on the average machine plus other fixes and enhancements. Don't expect the be all, end all, upgrade fix to appear overnight even though it's possible. We'll see what's next, but being optimistic is a greater feeling than being pessimistic. But for all those folks who were dissatisfied with previous updates, I feel your pain, hopefully it isn't over until at least X2d and when the fat lady sings.

FYI, the mails keep coming in on a daily basis ...
meanwhile 11 of my reported issues since Dec 2012 got status "under investigation" - 6 of them made it to "submitted to development" which must mean that they could reproduce the problem and filed for a fix
only one came back as a possible support issues (ACT no being remembered)

this definitely looks like the VS-700 being worked over

Thanks for all your hard work in submitting all the issues to the CW support team for possible resolutions. Hopefully every issue can be fixed to perfection before it's over.

@FreeFlyBertl
Maybe those 6 (or even 11) issues are fixed in X3 ?
I doubt it though.

All bug issues that CW acknowledged in X2a are being looked at for completion.

kday
All known bugs especially the ones acknowledged by CW will most likely be fixed in the next update X2b.

Please stop. Thank you.

Not right now........

If any known bugs aren't fixed now, they may be completed in X2b.

as i never received any further emails saying that these issues are indeed fixed, I reckon they just got buried inside some database with the label "submitted to development" on the tombstone

i can't even find a list of those other supposedly 100 issues they claim to have fixed or enhanced. it's really a shame how companies operate these days. there used to be a document called "release news" in the dark old days that you could read and decide whether to install or not ... now it's just go try and figure yourself ... must be industry standard these days (e.g. samsung smart tv firmware upgrades, kawai mp10 firmware, oh yes good old roland ... same attitude everywhere ...)
