Volume level in the Sonar X3 Media Browser

I have a quick question. The volume level of samples (loops, one-shots) seems to be louder in the media browser, but when I drop a sample into, say Session Drummer, the volume of the sample drops. Is this normal or have I click on something I wasn't suppose to click on?

    The preview bus tends to be loud since it is set to unity.
