You are being incessantly narcissistic Alex. You can not speak for me of what I am being affected by. I already answered about Noel's statement. There was no 'bug' or 'incorrect' behavior identified before X3D so this is a NEW behavior regardless of where it lies.
Bottom line is something changed in X3D and it has been identified as a change in CW code as well as Waves not giving CW what they need. Waves has been notified. I am fine with where this issue is going and support Cakewalk and Waves that they will get it corrected.

Now when you save the project we save the state that SONAR knows about which is incorrect and when you load it back you get the incorrect state that you are seeing. Clearly you don't agree with the above statement. Glad we got that sorted ;)

No, you are assume I do not agree with that.
You are missing my point and I do know yours.
I already answered Noels statement question from you. I know there is a disconnect from what Waves is sending and what CW is getting in X3D.
Please look at what I originally asked. I wanted to know if anyone ran into this and what the changes were. I know now and I am happy with the direction they are both going with it. Shouldn't that be all that matters here?

I've confirmed myself that the Waves Chris Lord Alge plugins do not stay set to the settings I've made to them when I re-open X3D. It's a bit un-nerving because I've had to basically recreate the mix. So my workaround has been to save as a user preset- on EVERY instance I have open. When I open the project with those plugins I THEN have to go to all of them I have on any track and re-load my user preset. It's a PITA. However, I couldn't say if it's Sonar or Waves issue- but it's an issue.

The easiest way to avoid the problem is to NOT use SONAR's preset picker and to use the preset picker from the Waves UI. The waves issue is that the plugins are not working properly in VST3 unless the default preset (preset 0) is selected while saving and loading. Apparently that doesn't change the current preset as reported to the host although it picks the right preset inside the plugin.
