This thread is old, old, old, so I doubt the OP will be back to answer your questions, unless he is still hanging around.  I only chimed in because of a recent post by yoursong asking about problems with Spaces ... people are obviously running these reverbs successfully with stabile systems, so I don't think yoursong will have a problem.

If you are running X2 producer then why not use Breverb (with tweaking and using accurate pre-delay's I have found it to be excellent). Not quite the same a real Lex 480L or 244 (and I really wish a 480 emulation would come out in native 64 bit) but still pretty dam good if you avoid the presets.
