Who are some of the people here you would like to hang out with... what would you do ?
here's a few of mine off the top of my head ... I would like to meet and hang out with James in Scotland one of these days …play some guitars and dig the wide open spaces . I would like to play some blues guitar with Guitarhacker and then go out and do a motorcycle ride I would like to get in a room with Beagle and arm wrestle him where the best out of 5 wins means the winner get's to keep the bacon …. Ya'll get the idea ...this can be fantasy , poking fun …or a serious hang out / meet the only rule is lets keep it fun and civil Kenny

You might think this is disingenuous but I would honestly like to personally interact with some of the folks who I've been either put off by or who I don't really get on these forums and have a drink with them and sit back and listen to them and try and find out what really makes them tick...do my very best to see and understand where they're coming from...and see if I've truly been wrong about them all this time. And then...if I was wrong about them...sincerely apologize to them and try and build a new relationship with them. Or...if I was right about them...tell them directly to their face that I was right...that they are, after all, a douche bag and to "flake off, touch hole".
Of course, I say that with love.

That's nice Kenny, it's mutual my friend You're welcome anytime. Of course, I'd be terrified playing guitar with you, but I'd get you back by having my wife give you a horse-riding lesson

No kidding! I'm not going to make a real reply here, because I KNOW I'd forget someone who would be endlessly offended about it (yeah, right ). That said, I'm sure I wouldn't mind meeting past member Katie Katie (who hasn't posted here in about three years), hotties that are MIT grads with high IQ's really put lead in my pencil!

Yeah that would be cool hang out James say, theres no need to worry about playing guitar with me ... when I play and jam with other guitar players I like to play underneath them in a supportive role ... thats kinda how I got into all that solo guitar stuff …trying to back people up well lets see now , if your wife does all that fancy riding where the horse is running at full speed jumping over stone walls and bushes ..I might have to just bring a few guitars with me so I could bribe your wife into telling you I took a lesson when I actually didn't Kenny

I bet getting everyone here in one room would be a real blast!!! Soooo many knowledgeable and interesting personalities + add some alcohol to the mix...........you've got yourself a real party!! Playing (software) poker with Larry would be a lot of fun, but most of us would be just folding with Bapu & Olpal always raising the ante.

I actually met one person from Cakewalk somewheres around 2005 .. Brandon came to Cali and did a clinic at the Ventura Blvd Guitar Center . He was demoing SONAR , Dimension Pro , and ( Rapture if I'm not mistaken ) I had gone to it …after it was over I waited to say hello and introduce myself to him ... he didn't know who I was I think he was just happy that I wasn't there to mug him ... I had ridden my motorcycle there , I was decked out in leather from head to toe and I had sat about 2 feet from his table where he had his lap top and watched every move he made ….I was there to learn Kenny

Funny you should post this now, Kenny. Donna and I will be near Eugene next week for my daughter, Stephanie's, wedding. I have been thinking it would sure be nice to swing up to Vancouver and meet up with you. I don't know if we can make that happen, but the idea is certainly appealing.

You. Grill something, play guitar, shoot guns! LOL. Actually, I cannot think of ANYONE here that I would not want to meet and hang out with. Really, not a soul. This is a god place filled with great people. I'd like to eat and play guitar with anyone. I might even have a beer and a cigar... outside. I used to be a member of an online community that had regional "jams" from time to time. I made it to one, it was a great time. As far as getting together to play some music and record it of course. I think that would be something to think about. Huh? J
