Jimbo 88 So I'm dloading right now... Anyone got it up and running? You're downloading it? I haven't received an e-mail about it and it isn't showing in my registered products. Edit: Nevermind. I just saw the sticky about it and am downloading it from http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/kb/reader.aspx/2007013301 Thanks for the heads up.

Been running it here for half an hour or so. Just playback and minor tweaks...no heavy lifting yet, but seems fine so far. Dean

I just opened it (X2) after installingX2a and reading the notes... I don't yet know what stability issues are better or anything else, but my most important issue was seemingly not touched... The zoom issues with Lanes is still as bad as before! <sigh>... Here's hoping some of the other things "fixed" make me feel any better. Right now I'm sad that I will have to live with this implementation of Lanes for at least another 6 months or more? Back to a warm Sonar already in progress... Good luck everyone! Keni

May seem silly to ask, but here goes! I have not applied a quickfix, that I believe was out some time ago, and can't find if it is required before X2a, anyone know about this? Should I be OK just applying X2a? Thanks!

I got a forced restart screen about 3/4 of the way through the installation on my Win7 32. I hit cancel and the installation resumed. I have no idea what that was about. Never seen that screen just hang until I took an action. Opening the program now. Keep those tips coming. :-)

Can anyone confirm with a pic what changes lie here please... 2Updated Piano Roll view and Staff view Track pane UIThe Track pane in the Piano Roll view and Staff view has received an updated UI, shows more intuitive buttons, and the current track is now highlighted." Might get the wallet out before Christmas if there are sufficient changes...

I downloaded and am afraid to install. Anyone have any install issues or any issues prior to install ? Seems like everytime I apply a patch (to any of the softwares) I lose something, settings, paths, something... Then I spend a few hours fixing it. My machine & DAW are running great right now. I am hesitant to update in fear of losing something.

Thanks FFB.... so no music note duration icons then (again)..... still work in 8.5 to create music .... but use X1 to mix... - I was just hoping Cakewalk would give me an incentive to purchase X2. Ben Staton could do it in his spare time with sonar+... can't see why Cake just don't integrate it as it was in 8.5 and earlier..
