I just wish the details of the offer would be published somewhere on the Cakewalk site.

The offer is Melodyne's.  It wouldn't make any sense for Cakewalk to publish that.  And Melodyne has smartly made this a private offering to SONAR X3 customers.  That limits the impact on their retail pricing.  it is a great deal on the most amazing, useful software.  I hope you are able to beg, borrow (but not steal) the money to take advantage of this.

DAW: SONAR Platinum Audio I/F: Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 gen2
OS: Windows 10 64-bit CPU: Haswell 4790 4.0 GHz, 4 core, 8 thread  Memory: 16 GB      Video: GTX-760Ti
Storage: Sandisk SSD 500GB for active projects. ReadyNAS 20 TB for long-term storage

ob1peanut - I'm in the same boat.  I want to take advantage of the upgrade but the link they sent me just takes me to their regular store.  I did send an e-mail inquiring but have not heard back yet.

Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

I also contacted Celemony when I ran into some problems with this discount offer.  The Celemony staff is great! Really helpful and service-oriented people :)

For those in the same boat.  My link to the $149 upgrade did not work.  I sent an email to Celemony and within minutes got a new corrected link.  This was also on Satruday.  They have remarkable support for a weekend.  Thanks for this thread and for the info to email them.  It worked.

BTW, I just entered the new serial number in my Sonar's Melodyne Essential and it immediately upgraded from Essential to Editor.  Just have to also download the standalone version, but Sonar ARA version was just a matter of entering in the new serial number.  Voila!  It is done.

Just have to also download the standalone version,

I'm just curious how people would use the stand-alone program.  I guess if you just want to take a vocal and put all the pitches dead center, that would work.  But when I am using Melodyne, I want to hear the track being edited in the context of the whole mix.  How else would I know about the rest of the  adjustments (attack speed, note length, amplitude, etc)?
