Z3ta+2

Ok I said in another thread that I would wait to buy the Z3ta+2 .. I waited about 6 mins . $49.00 like someone said its a half a tank of gas.. I figured I'ed stay home this week so what the hell why not..

Ok i had to wait about a 1/2 hr for the serial number , it installed perfect , I did read the help menu and ran sonar In Admin mode and Registered it as it said .. No problems..
OkI have only listened to a few presets and thats what made me write this post .. WOW .. enough said.. I just found my goto ...
Im stunned .. Great purchase indeed.

Eagerly awaiting my serial number (it's been about 10 min since my purchase).

I was going to avoid the hype, and wait a couple weeks before deciding whether to do the Ver 2 upgrade...but 60 seconds of listening to the new sound examples from the Leads and Bass categories on the Ver 2 product page got me typing in my PayPal id faster than you can say the phrase 'jaw dropping.'

Can't wait to start messing around with this synth.

BTW the product page URL is http://www.cakewalk.com/Products/Z3TA/, but i'm giving fair warning...don't go there unless you're ready to plop down $50 (or $99 if you don't own Ver 1).

    regards

I don't want to be a party pooper....but I just spent $119 for next weeks release of Sibelius 7 upgrade (Sweetwater...sweet deal)

I was just wondering if in the inevitable X2 Pro upgrade that will most likely be out this fall/winter...include the Z3ta+2...?

Yup - both x86 and x64 versions are included in the installer.

Sorry not this time around. However, if you have the original Z3TA+ you can leave it installed and use as effects processor alongside Z3TA+ 2.

Are there any plans to bundle this in any future X1 (or future versions of Sonar)?

It would make more financial sense for Cakewalk not to bundle their synths with the main sequencer...

I know of no plans to include Z3TA+2 in any future version of SONAR. It will likely retain version 1.5.

    Hi me again.....

Works great - lots of fun...

I've got my joystick to work as a controller and it  controls the X/Y pad spot on...

but is there anyway of getting the device to record its movements as midi data?... noticed that the joystickpanner-1 in prefererences doesn't allow you to choose the joystick as a midi in/out. IS there a way to get to work within Sonar???

If not possible... is there some kind of wrapper available for usb joysticks so they register as midi devices?

Could anybody post the manual online?
I want to check if Z3ta+2 supports microtuning or not. (the original Z3ta+ did, but they planned on dropping that essential feature on Z3ta+2  , begged them not to do it but I fear for the worst )
