OPEN LETTER TO FORUM MEMBERS
I think this forum went in the wrong direction. I am here to read about facts and opinions in working with Sonar products, positive or negative, that is al OK for me. However, I am NOT here on the forum to read about jokes I mostly donot understand (I am from France), or words like LOL I donot understand, or the constant kidding, beating and hitting between golden, platinum, bronze members. That makes no sense to me and it doesnot support anything. So can you please all stop this negative and so-called humoristic remarks, and stay at the facts and opinions. It will diminish the number of reactions on this forum with at least 50%. Thanks, Dick

Oui, vous êtes correct. Mais... This forum has grown to much more than a simple question/answer resource. We're an online community with a unique culture, that's one of the things you can either like/hate about Cakewalk. But I do think Cakewalk should consider making international versions of this forum, also! Bonne chance mon ami!

The French aren't noted for their sense of humour. P'raps there should be a forum in the OPs own country/language which would be more comfortable for him? Either that, or you could learn the lingo and the subtleties of English, mon petit champignon...

Clearly didap would be more comfortable on a more aggressively moderated forum. In view of the comments that the occasional moderators here have received about their conical craniums, it would seem that he is not the only one visiting us who is from France. Phrenology aside, it might be true that discussion here would be easier to follow if we were all more on point. btw (by the way) Very few native speaking netizens understand all the abbreviations used here, and very few native humans understand much of the humor.

Yikes Dick ! You seem to have opened the floodgates for ridicule, but can't say I don't agree with you. Maybe next post try a good question, and see if there's less joking around, and more problem solving.
