#33 was and to an extent, so was #30. When X1 came out, that statement was all the rage.

What I fail to understand is why some people just don't get it. I CANT F***ING SEE THAT WELL!!!!! Why are some of you so upset by that? "Oh, I like the colors", or "I manage just fine" but still my complaint is unfounded? The best is when one says, "(paraphrased) Well Cakewalk can do what they want. It's their business". If you haven't noticed, "we" are their business. I realize that I'm one of the few that wants the color options back the way they used to be back in 8.5 but go ahead, keep arguing with me but stop putting words in my mouth. How would you like it if you were going blind and there's nothing that can be done? My eyes hurt looking at that god damned color scheme and if that bothers you, then bully for you. Hopefully I'll get to help or annoy some of you for a long while but it seems they're getting worse and this is what I love to do.

I fully agree with your position on this. What is baffling to me is even if CW puts back color customization it wont impact any of those that like the way it looks or have no vision issues. (I'm in that group) In effect its really not going to impact them at all or me.

Its no different in part with the wish to have a better Staff View. Those that have no use for it are unaffected, but those that need it are immensely empowered by an improvement in it. Why would anyone try to block another's feature hope? One that is so clearly tied to the ability to use the program by our fellow users?

John: Exactly what I was thinking.  Now, I'm sure someone will be along right away to tell us how that will take away from other areas of development. :)

It could Blades. My view is, for those that need this it ought to be a priority. Other things could be put on hold if that is required. But I don't think it would put too much pressure on CW.

BTW which of these would you like to be put on hold, if you think there's no pressure on Cakewalk :)

Funny that nobody really was outright disagreeing or actually saying things which were earlier paraphrased (paraphrasing is a great way to bend what was actually said, without actually engaging the real points that were made, it works quite well as a lot of people I notice don't tend to read the entire thread, and maybe 6 posts later people actually end up believing what a person didn't actually write, rather what the other person said they wrote). It's the standard "you are with us or against us" football mentality which has set in sadly (and I'm sadly seeing more and more of this in these forums). And BTW nobody actually said "you are with us or against us" - just to be clear, but maybe in the next six posts we could end up accusing somebody else of saying this...

Alex that makes no sense. There in no argument if there is no point counter point.

Hello, CakeAlexS,

I did try to make a point, a few posts back. It was about colour in Sonar X3 and modifying the look of the selected track(s).

I was hoping that maybe someone would come into this thread with something to say (positive or negative) about that idea.

I guess that is the point of this thread, not "winning" it, right?

This is exactly the point and is right on the money. I vote for colors and SV and...Sonar's world domination of the DAW world.

@Skinnybones. I agree with your point, Jlien's X's (#10) and Paulo's #43 post.
My previous point was mainly a rehash of #57, it's football team mentality. I wonder who is going to win.
