Just checked their website and it's correct... If you add Midi Guitar to you basket, you'll find you get Midi Bass free.

I had never heard of this before. It looks very interesting. I didn't see any price on the website. Anyone know what they charge for a new customer?

Looks like version 2 is only in beta presently?

Lawa, this is truly great for us "non-keyboardists" and just being able to play our favourite ax to get synth sounds.....simply fantastic!! The response and tracking is excellent and the developer has been very good in updating the software.
It's $99 and IMO.....totally worth every penny!!

Here's an thread about it from earlier this year: http://forum.cakewalk.com/Jam-Origin-MIDI-Guitar-m3189073.aspx

Mesh, +1   worth every penny...

Been putting this brutal thru the ropes and it shines.

First time this ability has been available. Tracks even fast vibrato without flipping in to some quarter tone an octave above. Previous versions, as good as they were, was like playing thru molasses. Cool software previously, but forget trying to fit it into a mix. Either it blasted unacceptable volume spikes or did not track. Getting close to the real thing now. Latency also within irritating but acceptable bounds.

Response is limited by the vsti. Found that even Kontakt libraries vary in their response within a library. Example, vintage organs. Some respond to pitch and some samples do not. Likely something that can be scripted out if a life and death concern.

Guitar bangers advised to follow up on this gem, because enough kinks have been worked out that the program is almost real.

Must agree that this is a very nice piece of innovative software.  I have had it for a couple of years, and while it has limitations, it has improved with every release.  The tracking has improved and is functional as long as you play cleanly. In fact, while I own two Axons and one Roland midi guitar interfaces, I have not used anything but Jam Origin's Midi Guitar for well over a year now.  I am not going to sell my AXons (not yet at least), but Jam Origin is my goto for midi guitar for DAWs and being able to use all my soft synths is great.

Also, the upgrades are free, and we get the Midi Bass Guitar free as well.  My advice, try the demo, buy the product.

Hey Mesh buddy looking good

Here's mine ,

I have been playing with Midi Guitar  2.0 Beta 11 for the past hour ....
OMG ....the pitch bending really works great

EDIT ,  I sent Ole an e mail to thank him and tell him how much I'm impressed with the New Beta Midi Guitar ....
He mentioned in his reply e mail back to me that they found a couple of bugs and that there will be a new release later today

That's only for the v2 beta trial. If you want the v11 beta, you'll have to pay. Which I won't. Not paying for beta.
Edith says: right on, never pay for beta, better wait for the finalized version.

Pretty sure I am not the only one here who purchased MG during the early adopter sale.

Ahh Scook, here's hoping Ole will do another one, as long as it's in beta.

Debating picking this up while you can get Bass for free...

Any idea how well this works with some of the popular plugins like OrangeTreeSamples Evolution series or Trilian?
