craigb Bub Firefox 3.6.XX is still the only one fully 100% functioning. Unless you're using IE9 which has worked just fine for me since I got it. (Just sayin' ) I have IE9. Doesn't work on my PC. All the text formatting icons are gone, and it won't space properly ... Yeah, if I type one line at a time just play text it will work, but I'm too much of a loud mouth for just one line of text.

Ain't that something. I logged on using IE9 to show you a screenshot of what it does ... and it isn't doing it now. Basically the spot where all the text formatting icons are was completely blank. Keeewl.

Never mind ... it's not working again. I'm at a loss ... along with a bunch of other people. Tired of wasting time on this ... back to FF.

Have you tried switching it off then back on again? Did you wait 30 seconds before switching it back on? Is it pluged in at the wall? Are you sure your TV is on the right channel?

Bub - i notice the same if I zoom the web page. Leaving it at 100%, all the formatting and smileys are there. So, are you zooming in IE9? Then that would probably explain it;)

Chrome works well, I was using it but deleted it because I couldn't shake the thought ofGoogle looking over my shoulder. IE9 works better than it used to but you have to make sure to click button on top so that no content is filtered, else you wont see some pics and vids. OTher than that IE9 seems just fine now. I have the newest FF too but I get irritated because I have a hard time finding where in it's imported list my favorites are. I'm sure I could learn it but pffft. J

I didn't zoom in. I may have at one time, but every time I close it, and reopen it, it defaults back to where it was originally. Gotta head out now. Have a good day everyone. :)

FastBikerBoy ie tab works very well in the latest FF as well. Set it as the default for cakewalk.com and any other sites that don't work very well in FF and all bases are covered. test test test I said TEST. is no one paying attention. Karl I use that exact same setup thanks to you. At least one person then is paying attention. I figured if IE9 is sat on my system anyway it may as well earn it's keep. I somehow like the idea of IE being Firefox's beeyatch.

As mentioned above, if you are not at 100% on the zoom, you'll get those issues Bub. Look at the status bar on the bottom of the screen. At the far right it should show you what your zoom is. Fix it then close it while holding down the <CTRL> button and it should save as a new default.

What was that ELO song where he says at the beginning, "Test test, is this on? Ok, on the count of 4 .... 4!" or something like that, and the song abruptly starts? It's been driving me crazy all day trying to think of the song.

ProjectM Bub Testing the 100% zoom thingy and it works. Thanks! :) So you did zoom then Bub - well there you go, back in action! Well done;) Well, yeah, but it only goes to strengthen my claim that Fire Fox 3.6 is still the only browser that works properly ... I can zoom in and out all day long with it and it still works. After a couple hours of squinting at my screen last night in IE9 at 100% and getting a major headache from it, I went back to FF 3.6. It just works ...

hmm... It seems the newest fanciest version of IE Tab supports AdBlock plus but doesn't say anything about NoScript. I was hoping that it wasn't actually IE but an IE emulator but it sounds like it just opens IE in FF somehow. Anyone know more about this?

Then I tried Chrome but couldn't link properly with it, which I can't using IE tab either but I just prefer FF to Chrome. I link using the [] method. That works pretty well for me. As annoying as this site is I find other sites don't play well with FF, others don't like IE. I don't think there is a one size fits all browser is there?

I have to agree the sneaky way they try to slip Chrome in with every darned program and even some device drivers these days is obnoxious. I make sure to check every page that pops up during installs to avoid that but I've been doing that since I accidentally added the Ask.com toolbar years ago. Frak was that thing ever annoying and a pain to get rid of. Bing is another one that steams my clams.

I clicked download for Adobe Reader and it automatically started downloading all three programs. The only one that I could stop downloading was the Google toolbar. Of course one can make changes after the fact. It made me do that.
