Ok...now you tell me what the heck I am doing wrong. I go back to the bandlab site. I pick password problem choice and it sends me an email. Ok...so far. I log into that link (Now this is online, mind you, I then change the password.
I log off and then re-log on to the bandlab site. I put in my user name (same as here by the way), and my new password and viola! Ooops...not so fast.... this msg comes up.
Incorrect Login or PasswordYou can log in using your email or username associated with your account.
Make sure that it is typed correctly.
Now this has nothing to do with my firewall. This place just does not recognize me in any way. I am running out of hair to pull out. Have to go. Client coming into the studio in 20 minutes. Sorry for the bother, people, but I am at a loss here. Just saying.

Hey Studioguy1,
Try copy/pasting into a notepad doc.(not word or any other app), make sure the spelling is correct and there are no white spaces before and after the password. If there is some space before/after, clear them and then copy/paste from the notepad version.
I'm just taking a stab at this but have seen it many times in the past with network login clients and can be extremely frustrating!

Can't see why not as it is essentially a ' free' product. The old SONAR ' Officially' allowed you to install on 2 machines with the proviso you only used 1 at a time.

What are you trying to do? What are you trying to download? If your email is already registered and you have access to the emails therein, have you tried the "Forgot your password?" link on the Bandlab log in page?

May also want to uninstall BandLab Assistant and download the newest version 3.0.8. Also try typing in credentials instead of pasting. Maybe a password reset will work. If nothing works and you have no trouble accessing your BandLab account using your web browser, contact Cakewalk support.

Apply settings from a track template to an existing trackYou can apply settings from a track template to an existing track, without affecting the existing track’s clip data or track automation. To do so, right-click in the Tracks pane and select Replace From Track Template > [track template name] or select More Track Templates on the context menu.

Clean audio folder would crash Cakewalk when it encountered paths > 260 chars. This operation has also been optimized to run faster by skipping scanning system and program folders. Thank God, lol.
This would/will be an excellent tool if it ever worked without errors and/or crashing. Edit: Still freezes, but doesn't seem to be crashing Cakewalk or throwing errors. Still searches a lot of unnecessary folders though...

Edit: Still freezes, but doesn't seem to be crashing Cakewalk or throwing errors. Still searches a lot of unnecessary folders though...
The tool tries to err on the side of caution by checking a lot of folders for CWP files. I can narrow that list further for the next update. By freezes do you mean it permanently halts or just stalls? Which path is displayed when its frozen? Maybe its a permissions issue since I was able to scan a full system without any freezes. I'll give it a try on a machine that has a lot more data and see..

Today I decided to make myself a little B-Day present and finally installed CbB... what can I say? - download and install went smoothly, without even a hint of a problem - seems it picked up ALL of my old settings, including VST paths - automatically - everything's fine so far! So a big THANK YOU to Meng and the team! Great Job! PS: Hope, that everyone having problems, will get it worked out soon.

Installed smoothly without problems. I'm super happy to see drum replacer back. I love using that tool to convert my Cajun drum playing into full on drums. I'm also looking forward to trying out the Clean folder tool again. I used to use it in Sonar 8 at the end of every project, just before archiving, to save on GB space on my archiving HD. A really handy tool and sadly unusable in later versions. Fingers crossed you got it right this version  All round great job from the Bandlab/Cakewalk teams. So glad to see you guys putting the love and attention into the product that we came to expect over the years.

I'm a SPLAT User as well.
I installed CbB, but i recognize a lot of files were installed on system drive.
I want to uninstall CbB, just because i don't have a customized option for installation paths.
If they will be there, i reinstall CbB without a question
So my question is, can i uninstall CbB without a problem?
I don't want to "destroy" my Cakewalk installation...

Pretty sure this only happens on the initial install. If CbB is already installed, it must be uninstalled and reinstalled to get the basic/advanced screen and the advanced install prompts. At least that is what I had to do.

After the BandLab Assistant has installed its own new version, then has downloaded and updated Cakewalk, it was stuck in "Installing" for hours, consuming my whole Internet bandwidth. Till I have stopped it. Replacing CCC with a small, transparent in operations and stable manager could be a huge sign where Cakewalk project is going to move. Instead, CCC was replaced with slow, huge, "hide everything" and only partially working... "thing"

I was at the same junction as azslow3. Not that there was any method to my madness, but I stopped and exited Bandlab assistant. Restarted it. Exited again. Rebooted. Restarted BA. exited and rebooted one more time. Then the little tab in BA was ‘install’ instead of download. Pressed installed. Waited. Had to reboot everything one
More time. Then viola! New version of CbB was runnable.
The whole process was one of the least transparent processes I have experienced for updating a program in a while.
At least CCC did have a ‘progress bar.’ Just needs a bit more tweaking!
