Well it took me a while to figure out why all these ****ed shoe spammers seem to come here. Haven't seen this type of spam in other music forums, but I think I might've figured it out: It's because of the name Cake WALK. These geniuses think we're all here discussing the benefits of shoewear rather than software. Richard

It could be true what you say. Though I tend to doubt it. Because he is actually posting to the forum as hut hi-lites it. That can't be done with a robot, and he is logging in to do so. He also would have to be blind to make that kind of mistake. CW is one of the very few that does not require registration to post on their forum. I do not want that to change but it may have to. It occurs to me that he really must be a total idiot if what you say is in fact true because the word cakewalk has never ever had anything to do with footwear. It means simple. Easy to do. Not hard. Feet and shoes are not a part of it. Although Google might be the blame in part. I wish there were some legal action that CW could take. Best John P.S. All bumping will appreciated.

Hey Very disapointed i looked at this thread hoping to read about hot pokers, pliers, blow torchs and getting medieval on there behinds, sadly its all very sensible. Personally i think covering them in jam and depositing them next to a ants nest is the way to go. Just my 2 pennyworth. G

Very disapointed i looked at this thread hoping to read about hot pokers, pliers, blow torchs and getting medieval on there behinds You forgot to mention boiling oil. It will have to be fat free of course. We wouldn't want to harm his health. But all kidding aside this thread has had a calming effect on me. My anger was, shall we say, at a high level. By dealing with this thread I have found the it has greatly mitigated some but not all of my anger. I wonder if it has had a similar effect on others? Best John

Hi John- I agree that the best thing is to not respond to the thread and to report them. They don't deserve any more of our energy/thought, or even our anger, which can be directed elsewhere, more constructively [IMO, of course]! -Susan

I am still angry just not as much. I could get more angry if this keeps up though. BTW your opinion is very valuable here as are your thoughts. Is there an angry emoticon? Best John

Hi Jon- Are you saying that your anger is not as prominent after participating in this thread? I am still angry just not as much. I could get more angry if this keeps up though. No, I wasn't really angry in the first place. Granted spam on a forum is annoying, but it just doesn't get me all that riled up. These recent posts in particular were so obvious that I ignored some and hit "Report" on others if it was a slow day at work ! I used to get a lot in my personal e-mail, and that bothered me more, but that's been reduced to almost none by my current ISP. If I'm going to get angry, it's not going to be about somebody advertising shoes on a public forum! BTW your opinion is very valuable here as are your thoughts. Is there an angry emoticon? Thanks! Back at ya! And yes, there's an angry emoticon right on the Reply to Message window: -Susan

I usually reserve my anger for more meaningful things, like the weather, the mailman, slow traffic, and pedestrians in general. Just a waste of perfectly good testosterone, otherwise.
I'm a perfectionist, and perfect is a skinned knee.

Simple, just read corrupted's post above and realize that if we were just sitting around a table having this conversation, a seat would just have opened up for Susan or someone, as the ambulance drove away... ROTFL for real! That was as funny as it gets. Priceless! Best John
