I received the email and filled out the survey. It wasn't just the general type of BS survey. I thought the questions were direct and detailed regarding the issues and direction the user base would like to see implemented into future versions of Sonar. It only took about 10 minutes and was my chance to voice my opinions. Great job Cakewalk, Thank You. Kind regards, Rick

I got the email, will respond later. I'm mostly happy, but the problems with surveys is the devil is always in the details and they become difficult to respond to. But I will.

Just filled it in. New forum software, a new survey - are these the actions of a company that is about to fold or drop Sonar, as some recent threads have suggested? Doesn't seem like it to me.

Yeah... I dd the survey and I'm very pleased that they at least asked even if I don't see results I'd like... But I still hope! ;-)
The questions were pretty good but a number of them were expressed in was that didn't allow me to express Yosef correctly.
Fortunately they did allow some free field write-is...
Thanks Cakewalk...

You have to fill out the survey if you want the right to complain about X2 from this point on....... Here's your chance to have a say......speak now or forever hold your piece....err I mean peace.......there's even a box where you can add a personal feature request which I gladly did............. Good sign that CW is at least trying to listen to the customer base..........well done.

Studio and Essential users aren't even given the chance. But I don't complain about it. Producer users paid more so they deserve better services, etc. Anyway, I'm sure you all gave the product right ratings and X3 will have improved take lanes, faster and better timestretch, smaller control bar and console, etc.

Yes, I responded. I also read the article on using a midi controller for TH2. I've used my GR20 to work as a volume and wah pedal for the TH2 but I just used old midi controller methods and ACT. I just learned how to set it up as a soft synth and route using that method. I'm sure they both work. It's interesting. It would be cool if I could figure out how to make the other GR20 pedals (to turn stomp boxes on and off) send midi messages, but they don't seem to. Thanks, Cake!

I got it, Filled it out, and sent it in. The Survey seems to address a lot of issues people brought up in this forum. It seems as though the bakers are listening after all. I like the section about features with the 3 options. 1. fine the way it is, 2. would be nice, and 3 needs attention. hopefully this will give them some direction on what customers would like to see in future releases.
