Ioannis...so sorry.  As I was walking to work this morning, I remembered I did indeed put strings in this one (haven't listened to it in awhile.)  Now I get what you're saying.  I've never tried increasing the reverb as a song progresses.  I may try it.  Thanks!

Thanks Mark.  Glad you enjoyed it.  Yeah, since the whole song STARTED with the drums/guns/whatever they are, it would sound a little lame w/o them, IMO.  :-)

Yeah, if you listened to one of the first mixes, I suppose this is quite a bit different.  Thanks for stopping by again and I'm tickled you liked it. :-)

Strummy's late to the party as always

I love this Janet, such a moving piece.

It's so easy to listen to this and imagine the same scene of devastation you may have had in mind when you composed it.

Beautiful, and could have been a lot longer for me.

Really glad you like, it, Steve.  Actually, this isn't anywhere near what I initially envisioned--so much so, that I should probably change the title. lol  But I like the way it turned out anyway.  Longer?  Hmmm....I think I had to work hard to get it this long.  Maybe just play it again.  :-)

I just keep coming back to this one, Janet.
As you mentioned earlier, it is a fairly simple tune, but incredibly powerful.
As many times as I have listened to it, it still gives me chills.
So gloriously dark. And so elegant.

Wow, Bob. Thank you!  Maybe I'll have to go listen to it again myself. :-)

I messed around with Stormdrum last night, trying to get some new ideas.  I had an idea for a totally off-the-wall piece, but couldn't get inspired last night.  I DID set up a template for SD, though.  So maybe when the time and mood hits me next time I'll be ready for it.  :-)

Thanks again.  You should take about half the credit for this one, with all the guidance you gave me.  :-)
