If someone wants to keep abreast of what other DAW developers are doing in comparison to Cakewalk they can go to their website, that's what they are there for.

Or you can choose to simply not read threads that are clearly asking when CW is going to implement a feature that another DAW has. You can't explain what the feature is if you aren't allowed to mention the other DAWs. Pointing out the value-add that such a feature provides is helpful in letting others know why Sonar would become a better product if it also implemented a similar feature. Should Sonar users ask CW to implement similar features by posting on the other DAW websites?

I have no problem with other DAW's mentioned in the context of the original question and wanting features from another DAW.  I'd love to have Sonar support ARA and I hope they do sooner rather than later.  The problem is it always degenerates into a "Sonar sucks, they don't have this/that/and the other thing, I'm jumping ship, blah blah blah".
