The Band19 In fact, the Moocher inspired me to bump Janet's most excellent song, with Jimmy (may he rest in peace) singing on it, so thank you. I do not expect an appropriate response. Now I get it. You think I bumped this thread up past Janet's song with jimmy as a disrespectful thing. As I said in the above post I got through to this thread from googling Danny's songs. Click the search and it sent me right to this thread then to the song. Then I made a comment. I wasn't trying to bump anything or even know what you were talking about until I looked at the whole songs forum. As far as jimmy.....if I recall correctly I gave him money. A person on this thread... Jimmy... I donated money to .... While I myself was out of work. I think Beagle started the donation site am I right? Quit a few of us donated money from the forums for his cancer treatment including me. And I didn't even know the man. Again..I am sorry he passed. I am kinda sorta expecting an apology from you bu I am guessing your too big of an **** to give one. Crap you got some nerve.

I mostly keep the stuff I do to myself, so it will be rare you ever see me post anything. I for one, actually wish you would post more of your stuff Danny. Its always inspiring, as is the knowledge you so graciously share. I still listen to your rendition of "Run To You" from time to time.

Don't care who bumped what, just glad they did as it allowed me to listen to this magnificent piece of art. Very well done Danni and Philip. You are the John Lennon & Paul McCartney of this forum and I would love to hear more from you both. Loved this song so much. Mark.

Simply fantastic! I missed this one the first time thru. Great song - lyrics, chord progressions, arrangement! Nice to hear Danny's superb vocal talent. And of course the killer guitar solo and fabulous production.

pistolpete What we have here is nothing more than a 1980s hair band ballad. The guitar solo work fits perfectly with Danny's style. It doesn't seem to vary much from song to song. My constructive to him would be, dude, change it up and learn some new licks. It's time to move on from the Night Ranger sound. Also, the sampled choir sound came across a bit fake sounding. Sometimes technology can become such a crutch that it becomes counter productive. And for the vocals, I thought they fit perfectly with the song, not bad. What we have here is nothing more than a 1980s hair band ballad. And there`s NOTHING wrong with that because, We 80`s people LOVE IT!!! The guitar solo work fits perfectly with Danny's style. It doesn't seem to vary much from song to song. My constructive to him would be, dude, change it up and learn some new licks. Yes it does work PERFECT, so if it ain`t broke don`t fix it is a perfect MOTO!!!! It's time to move on from the Night Ranger sound. Completely disagee with you here this is Danni`s sound and we LOVE it because it WORKS...Would you tell Eddie it`s time to move away from his Van Halen sound? Doubt it!!!!! Now where`s that Damn "LOVE IT BUTTON" again

pistolpete Message to Eddie Van Halen: If you happen to be out there and can read this post, please consider varying your musical style from time to time. Quite frankly, after your second album, your musical style has become quite boring and monotonous. Face it, after over 30 years of playing the same stuff, you'll end up playing rib festivals and touring Japan. Although your early playing was very ground breaking and revolutionary at the time, practically everything after your second album has become mostly irrelevant. Something new and innovative would be nice. Thanks. Pistol Pete, I tried to listen to your Guitar Stuff, to hear your up to date licks, funnily I couldn`t find any and what I did find they wouldn`t allow at a Ribfest or in JAPAN at anytime lol

I was really enjoying this thread and many others until you always come in and ruin them. Danni, Don`t let Pete ruin this great thread you posted, with such an amazing song on it, face it, Pete is just really unsecure in himself and severely jealous of your talents. Cheers, Alan

pistolpete It still is a 1980s hair band ballad.
Actually it`s a 2012 hair band ballad and a fargin GREAT one at that ...Unlike your 1930`s Tango Loops.
