There are specific presets to the modules but they're hard to find. They are kept in the Ozone 6 folder in My Documents. In the preset browser click on Change and navigate to that folder. The Global Presets folder is where the main presets are.

After playing around with Ozone 6 and reading this thread, (a lot of good information in it), I have to amend my original comments. Its a lot nicer then I first thought. I noticed I was able to get an improvement from it with material I put through it. In stand alone it has more options especially with the ability to use VSTs within it. That is not the way I work but as a plugin it is better than I thought. I must also confess I never used the reverb module ever. It seems to be a little easier to navigate then 5 or 4. 4 is the one I tend to use most. I also have been using T-Racks somewhat. I'm going to look a lot closer at this before I can say with certainty its a real winner. I know Ozone 4 works very well, 5 not so sure. I just upgraded to 5. In the past I often stated 'little Ozone can go a long way'. That is it is very powerful and can do great damage to a mix. I think this version is less prone to be so easy to over do it. However, I will still stand by the notion of not over doing it. All in all its seems now to be a good buy. Happy mastering.

Ozone has had presets all this time? Well, I'll be...sure enough, there they are! Dang, you learn something new every day. :)

I am also disappointed with this latest version of Ozone. All the new features that they offer in 6 are not anything I absolutely need or want. The main reason I was considering the upgrade was to get the Dynamic E.Q. The upgrade price for advanced is 399,99! For the price of the upgrade cost I can't help but wonder what else is available. It would be great if Cakewalk made a dynamic E.Q.

Well, A studio owner friend of mine convinced me to upgrade to Ozone 6 simply for its streamlined workflow. So I did and I have to admit that it is even easier and more intuitive with its new GUI. I still am not convinced on them trying to sell this "less is better" philosophy but the GUI does make it easy for most users to get around. With that said, one of the things that I was really taken aback on initially was the move to only offer the dynamic EQ in advance. Thanks to the many useful comments here, I decided to not upgrade to full advanced and to acquire Melda's Autodynamic EQ and MMultiAnalyzer. These in the short time that I have had them gives me the impression of having equivalent capability based upon how I used them and retaining a good bit of my pocket change. The Melda plugins offer powerful features and a requirement for a basic foundational understanding of audio, but with that comes a lot of possibilities. Moving back to my issue with the "Less is better" mantra the deletion of the reverb, gate, dithering options etc. does not have the initial sting it did due to the stand alone capability. In that mode any reverb or other plug can be inserted in the signal chain (Even Ozone 5 ) As I was pleasantly surprised. In conclusion for how I work, the upgrade to Ozone 6 with the Melda products have me feeling better, with no sense of loss in O Advanced capability (as per how I use it). I actually feel like I came out ahead... Much thanks to you guys!

Hey, Luna.... I too agree... being able to insert anything is awesome... as I now have fab's ProQ2, why would I want theirs? same with ProMB... as well as much better verbs if needed... And the melda alternative makes total sense...

These are very helpful. I am sticking with Ozone 5. I am very happy with it. I have not used the reverb in O5 but I know it will be very helpful when I record open stereo mic stuff like band rehearsals or something in very dry environments.

Hi Vastman, Yes... I was growing hair back deciding on the Gliss EQ, Pro MB and the Melda. The Pro MB was just so dang "Purdy" compared to the others (those cute ones have always been nothing but trouble for me ). And from what I saw it also is a great tool. Enjoy....
