I see improvements to MP3 encoding. I have the Cakewalk encoder - is there a new build for this?

We were thinking about "Chelsea." One of our initial ideas was to choose names based on highest crime rate by city in Massachusetts... But that felt wrong.

The new TTSLame.dll is part of the core SONAR installer. The integrated encoder will show

Yes, given that the releases are monthly and I'm used to doing monthly magazines, I suggested we do a monthly eZine to complement the release. Like everything at Cakewalk it's a collaborative effort but of course, my publishing/writing/editing/design experience comes in handy So here's an "upcoming for members" scoop. I proposed writing occasional reviews on items that complement SONAR, in particular controllers, sound libraries, studio accessories, etc. I figure as long as nothing is competitive with what Gibson makes, there shouldn't be any issues. Cakewalk likes the idea...maybe I'll even have something for the next issue.

I love the idea Craig. A review of things that will work with Sonar is a great idea. Perhaps members might to be induced to contribute too? I know Dave AKA Bitfipper did some reviews a while back that were outstanding. If this is also part of the membership it will be a wonderful valued added extra.

I notice some improvements with C3. One that was a problem for me was Dim Pro was not installing properly under it. I had to install it manually. Now not only does it see it as needing an update which it was red before, it now installs fully. Things are getting better and better. I have to admit I am a very happy camper. Thank you CW.

Anderton And check out this month's eZine for info on the release.
The eZine is really handy. It might be helpful to add locations for the new features such as: - The "Phazor Constructor FX Chain" is under FX Chain > Anderton Collection > Processors in the plug-in list
- The "Gibson Les Paul Gold Top" expansion pack programs are in the Guitars folder in the DPro browser.
Just saves time when looking for new stuff.

I think that was one of the fixes. By the way I should point out that the 50 fixes mentioned in the eZine is a partial list. In the process of doing fixes, often little things get cleaned up along the way. But there's no real point in mentioning "fixed incorrect font no one noticed in one letter in an Anderton Collection effect title" or the equivalent.

I believe they are under Gibson Les Paul Gold Top. Its an expansion all its own and has a bunch of guitars. They need to be installed with C3 by going the Dim Pro install button.

The new Virtual Keyboard is very handy. I have been wanting this for plugins that don't have one for auditioning purposes. Its very handy with Dim Pro for example. I have a hardware MIDI keyboard but its not as handy as this for this purpose.

About the Hardgroove Collection; I haven't used loops yet other than to check out what I have which doesn't seem to be much. I don't see anything named Hardgroove except for 9 basses in Dimension Pro. Where should I expect to see these files? Thanks, Blues

Congrats Cake on an incredible job well done. You guys deserve new coffee mugs or sumpin!! ;-D

Well I went to the trouble of installing DPro from C3 just now and reinstalling the Anderton Collection. The GoldTop folder did not get installed in ProgramData. Guess it is time to call support tomorrow.

scook ... and the samples may not be in the right place although I am not sure exactly what to look for.

* Scook is correct for this. Whilst it works in Dimension Pro sticking a whole load of .sfz files in the root of the multisamples folder is simply unacceptable. It has been packaged badly. Also * The hardgrove collection just copies to the default area and does not honour the folder path for rapture in the registry. You need to move it to the multisamples folder manually afterwards (if it is in a different place). * Boost 11 which appears to be installed on every update is also hard coded and does not honour the existing file path. This is a mess that needs fixing.
