The thing about just buying it is... I have Groove 3 as an app on my Roku TV. It's nice to sit in the living room and watch videos! Ha!

Anyone interested in getting a better handle on Melodyne 4, the Groove3 tutorial by Eli released late Feb 2016 is really helpful.
In this tutorial I almost sensed Eli was feeling time pressure to jump to creating his next tutorial on some other software, and was looking at his watch while talking.
The result? One of his best tutorials (in a long lineage of tutorials). Eli wastes no time in this one.
He gets through each of the capabilities quickly and efficiently, at a brisk pace. After each 4 min segment I came away enlightened regarding that particular segment. Why waste a ton of time? He gets right in there, shows what you need to know and leaves you thoroughly educated. A pro presentation.
I liked it!
Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

Yep, the video is pretty good. I wish he was on a PC though. I had to google what he meant by the "Option" key. (it's the ALT key for those like me that no nothing about Apple products.) I'm still trying to figure out how to load multiple tracks with Sonar. It may take some more time to convince myself that Studio was needed. I think the Editor version would have worked 99.9% of the time. I would like to get more info on using ARA, and loading a wav file finding the tempo, and getting it to snap to the grid. I'm sure more videos will come from Melodyne, and hopefully Sonar. Melodyne 4 is a huge impressive program for sure. I'm going to try to learn how to use it this time.

Couldn't agree more Clint, ol pal. We recently got Roku and I just love watching all my Groove 3 vids on the big screen.

I have it on my agenda tonight and looking forward to it. I will probably just watch it on the laptop so I can make quick notes in a text file. I did get to watch part of the izotope free delay video, this morning, and it looks like it could be an interesting little thing to toy with.

50" of Melodyne is pretty sweet. I would love to get a bigger monitor for the studio. I have a 23", but I think I deserve 36"!!! I'm pretty impressed with M4 so far. I do think I would have been just as happy with Editor, but I'll have to suffer through the Studio experience (sarcasm).

Is there a way to adjust the contrast of the vertical lines? I was editing some timing stuff at 1/32 note and it's pretty hard to see.
