ORIGINAL: VigilantSound

but it is mainly Lynx users that are complaining, right?

Actually its not just lynx users, I have a Motu interface and i would really like ADM, as you can probably tell by my posts!

Allow me to add my vote in here for adm as well - I use an Edirol UA1000 that with the latest drivers supports adm. Other Edirol products probably support adm as well. And seeing as how Edirol is a part of Roland which owns Sonar Wouldn't one reasonably expect to see some impetus here to add such support?

I put in a Feature Request for ADM some time ago as I thought it would be really useful for my Dakota, which supports it and has a decent input/output mapping function accessible through its control panel. I tried it in another host and discovered (and it is documented in the Dakota readme's etc, I just hadn't read them for ages :-)) that the functionality exposed by ADM is so limited compared to what is offered via the control panel that it was useless.

So ADM is definitely not a panacea, even if the card supports it!
