I turned it on the PC the day of last night....And a blue screen came up with lots of words, saying to remove ANY NEW INSTALLED APP....I installed no app...but I am sure something did do it automatically...without my consent.
Yah...words mean nothing,...if no in control panel is set to manual, control is set to off...and it is not off that auto crap, which puts in more err to turn itself off..saying I did do?....lies!

Sounds like someone is getting WILD on Christmas Eve. I would be pretty shocked if someone could operate a computer and type out multiple posts whilst tripping on acid.

12 seems to be running very well here. The reason some people seemed to be reporting issues with 12 and 11 were caused by MS updates that affected some CW plugins. Since Cakewalk rapidly updated these plugs to cope with the OS change, many peoples problems have disappeared.

Hi Paul, I would give version 12 a big thumbs up as of now. 2016.11 definitely broke a few things as did the Win 10 update and this combined to hose my laptop setup - but I'm still running Win 7 on my DAW and so far no problems
