Lol....yes. So cheerful, I actually listened to it at least 3-4 times. The emotion he sang with was very impressive.....also, I've begun to really like Mike Oldfield's music.

Heard this earlier today, what a great song and the strings are just spine-tingling. Must dig the 'Red Shoes' CD out.

That line 'Smurph, playing his guitar refrain' always brings a lump to my throat. Brilliant session guitarist;

Back in my college days, I used to just buy CD's (mostly of guitarists) without having heard or knowing anything about them.......just spending hours looking through the stacks of CD's (alphabetically) at record stores and found some really good gems.

 Been years since I heard this CD by Coco Montoya, but ran into this track on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5UNGsmxnYQ

Hi,

Kate's last album (snow something or other), is incredible and in at least a couple of pieces she does not use a song format at all, and it works just great. In two of them specifically, you ought to listen to it, and check out senor GADD's drumming ... you can't teach that ... you have to know and feel the music!

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

Have had her stuff since the song about Heathcliff! (Wuthering Heights). Even then, people were making fun of her voice, and her album was excellent.

There are 133 abbreviations for "NP" - just curious, but which one are you using all the time?

Like as in Now playing ... but it doesn't matter ... if you're more interested in a silly comment than you are in the music itself.

That is nice, beautiful orchestration. PG's voice is sounding great still. Always loved the bassline on this song, if I recall correctly from the documentary about the making of 'So', Tony Levin came up with that part over a drum machine pattern and PG built the track from it.
