Hmm... I don't have anything by them since 2005's Mourning Sun. I wonder when this will be available from something other than iTunes? [Edit - Looks like I missed a double-album called Ceromonies from 2012 as well. Apparently they weren't too prolific over the last 10+ years...]

I really don't know them as much as I should, though they've always been part of my "goth" playlists. Someday.
In the meantime, it's a rainy day here in Vegas and I find that this makes a most fitting soundtrack to my readings.

Gosh ... it feels like I have nothing better to do than to be weird and stoned. I gave up that stuff a long time ago, and still don't need it! Funny you should play this ... I have been catching up on Cabaret Voltaire, Der Plan, Din a Testbild and some other weirdness, and weirdest yet, is ... I didn't find them weird this time around! And I might even try and have another listen to Dagmar and her kitchen recorded voice!
Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

In the mid 90s, I played a friend a rough 4-track demo, and his response was "it sounds like The Sisters Of Mercy." I'd never listened to them before.
