I love the guitar in some of these African tracks. Thoroughly awesome. For some reason it kind of reminds me of Captain Beefheart vibe.

Hi,

The early days of Egberto Gismonti, when he was playing his own guitars he built, had a lot of this kind of sound, and quality. However, Egberto was a lot more free form in those days, than what this piece you have has.

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

Been listening to Perturbator a lot as I put my studio back together. I'm a big fan of 80's electronic soundtracks, Tangerine Dream, etc., and this is right up my alley.

Prior to my divergence to check out Perturbator, I was getting a Ramones fix!

I watched a very interesting documentary about The Bay City Rollers recently, apparently The Ramones heard The Rollers 'Saturday Night' with the chanty bits at the start and were inspired to write Blitzkrieg Bop..'Hey ho, let's go..'

I'm always impressed with how musical and catchy most of the Ramones songs are.  The lyrics are usually light and fluffy and totally off the wall, but you find yourself singing them anyway hours later because of the hooks and melodies they use.

Wouldn't be surprised if I've already posted this, but it's one of those songs which is a combination of a great arrangement, a fantastic singer and a beautiful mix that's like ear candy. It's Ben Watt, who was the moody bloke out of Everything But The Girl, with Julia Bilel on vocals.
