Perhaps the single most seriously amazing synthesizer solo ever (really)....

That's also an outstanding mix, IMO.

Cheers, I used nothing but Sonitus plugins and Sausage Fattener. Then uploaded it to Landr.

Was watching this other video of Cory Henry tonight. His command of dynamics with the volume pedal is absolutely amazing.

My neighbours are getting a fair share of this CD (got in the mail yesterday & volume on the HiFi is set to ON!), seems like he´s always got something new up his sleeve - YES, I´m a longtime fan!

Aaaand this is still one of my favorite videos on YouTube. Has been for almost 10 years basically. I just can't get over Steve Gadd's drumming on it. He hits all the right drums at all the right times

Love it!

You have to go listen to Kate Bush's "50 Words for Snow" ... Steve's drumming is out of this world in it, and she is not exactly doing a song ... she's just flying all over non-stop in several pieces in it, and he never misses ... it's just amazing.

I also like, specially, his early work with Rickie Lee Jones ... she never regained the touch she had when he was at the drums and I think that he kinda "made" her sound and sing better, because of the special attention to detail and emotion. I think he was in her first 3 albums.

Nice! For me, Gadd's drumming was one of the best things about Chick Corea's album, "The Leprechaun". I think it was  the first time I'd heard him. He kicked everything.

Are you getting the URL from the "share" box on the page? Because the one in the URL bar at the top of the browser is no good. Use the share one and take out the s of https.

After you copy the url, get rid of the "s" after "http". I noticed that after having issues like you are. I get the impression not everyone gets the "s" in their copying, but I can't speak to this.

FWIW - Once the link turns blue there's hidden HTML behind the scenes.  The best approach is to create the tags first then paste the shared link in-between and, lastly, remove the "s" from https.

Well lets have another go.

Nope - followed Craig's procedure exactly right down to creating the tags first. The link works if you click on it but here is the URL from the address bar https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2FXZeJED2w&feature=youtu.be

And more on The Anchoress here https://www.iamtheanchoress.com/ The Quote from NME "Oddball and accessable" sems to sum it up well.

How about highlighting the part that's turned into a blue link and clicking the "unlink" button in the toolbar? The one that looks like a paperclip breaking apart.

This is a great example of a live recording which sounds better than the original. Having said that I think everything Talking Heads recorded sounded amazing, they were definitely in the top 5 best sounding bands of the 80's. This is definitely one of my songs from that era (even though it was originally recorded in the 70's). Such great songwriting & chords.

I've always liked Marty Friedman's work (especially those exotic scales he plays with such preciseness) and has an unusual right hand technique, but boy can he play.
