Been really digging this band lately! GOOD Stuff!!!

Really well rehearsed and played. That's some very nicely done stuff and moments. Love it ... both women are excellent ... take that boys!

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

I have a pretty eclectic mix of audio lurvliness currently occupying the decks...

NEW MUSIC:

  • Nettlesmith - Cookin' In Satan's Kitchen
Wonderful set of songs from James and Tim, and beautifully produced. A real treat for the lug 'oles

Thanks very much for the plug mate, glad you're enjoying it!  Tim's hit a real purple patch lately and we've almost got a second batch ready to record - that 'difficult 2nd album' might well be stronger than the first.

Noice!  Since I'm afraid that I'm all out of those squid thingies at the moment, I'll just have to resort to enjoying the new material on your site for now...  Now, once I get employment again, that will be a different story!

No worries Craig. We also do the 'Soundcloud Shuffle' and there's a new song up;

Saw a great concert in Perth on Saturday, Dougie MacLean was hosting and played this beautiful song. Here's a lovely version by Cara Dillon.

One of my favorites of all time, and DEFINITELY my favorite Heep album. Byron, Box, Hensley, Thain, and Kerslake had a wonderful chemistry together.

Not going to be that many fans on this forum of this kind of stuff, and to be honest this isn't the kind of EDM I usually listen to when I listen to electronic music, but I love this video. Great demonstration of the crossover between DJ and producer, and the skill and musical judgment at work in something which people often just dismiss as punching buttons and twiddling knobs. Anyone who's enjoyed clubbing and/or raving will understand just how much a good DJ can influence your mood, and this guy has it, what an artist. Plus there are some INCREDIBLE fat analog sounds out of that Moog. He looks like he's really enjoying himself. And he looks just like Les out of Vic Reeves Big Night Out.

Personally, I will have to listen to the rest of this once I have 80 minutes to spare (I heard about four minutes before I checked the length!).  This is the kind of electronic music I liked to make for fun when friends came over (I'd give them command of a couple of knobs like "Resonance" and let them twiddle away).

BTW - What IS that clear-looking device he's twiddling knobs on anyway?

It looks like some kind of launchpad/controller mounted in a case on a stand. Although I'm certainly no expert at these things...

Agreed, I saw TCV 2009 in Berlin, the whole arena was hypnotized and dancing.
Compared with Led Zeppellin live 1973 I don´t know which concert was better
cause  longer ago this  gig is, so better it has been in my (inexact) remembrance.
The best rythm sections I´ve ever heard.

Just found out it's a custom MIDI controller put together by LIVID.  I know I'd never seen anything quite like it before!  I used to have a Roland SP-808 that could do some of the same things, but tried to do way too much.

Some have too many pads like the Ableton Launchpad:

Others have too many knobs...

But his controller (and stock LIVID's) look like just the right mix of knobs and pads:
