Pretty exciting news. More info here. Yes, you can now import your own samples. 25 new effects. 3,000 new patches. 400 new waveforms. 8 new filter types. Looks like I've got until April 30th to save up for it.
All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to. My Stuff

If they do, it will be the first time I've ever seen a Spectrasonics item go on sale like that. Some retailers will sell it a bit cheaper but I think they take a hit on it. When I talked to my reps recently about Spectrasonics, they all basically told me they have never seen them go on sale before. That said, I'll still be keeping my eyes open.

See my thread below about Time+space.com and you'll find a better deal (at least in the U.S.)

I've always liked Eric and his product lines. I have all three and he has my full support. It looks like he dropped some lbs too. However, this time I'm not that excited about the new release. It's cool but seems geared towards EDM artists and sound tweakers, both of which I am not. I was kind of hoping that he would do something with RMX. Most likely, I'll still get it just because it plays well with the other two and the GUI has been updated. As always, his pricing/update policy is outstanding.

Quite a few plugins recently have gone into sound design. Releases of hardware and plugins have followed patterns for years and ' weird noises from knob twiddling' is in at the moment.
