John6528 My I7-950 came clocked at 3.09. Been afraid to pump it up. It runs hot already. Does 12g ram instead of 6 help a lot? Is your ram 1600? John I think it has 1333 RAM, been a while since I built it now and I've had no need to go back into it. The thing I notice about having 12Gb of RAM is NEVER worrying about loading samples. I use BFD2 with all the quality settings set on max FOR TRACKING. If I'm using sample based instuments like Dim Pro I'll always load the best (biggest) quality samples and know there won't be any problems. I just want to turn it all on and use it and get the best quality I can without worrying about changing settings for tracking, mixing, final render, etc. I want it to just work, and it does. The only thing I do special while tracking is to keep the number of FX down that I know cause latency, like Perfect Space for example which has a 4096 sample buffer defined as default setting, though I lowered that so I can use it while live tracking if I want. Back on topic. Are the results ready yet Randy? Are they? Are they? Huh? Huh?

(images of coffee mugs failing to link - or maybe I'm still needing to wake up more to insert images properly) Good thing. I think coffee is the most disgusting thing ever. My wife and father-in-law drink the stuff and thankfully they got one of those Keurig coffee makers. Now the house does not reek of coffee so bad in the mornings. YUCK!
