This was originally an x2 Fred that Bapu changed the title to x3. Gotcha!

This is my list: 
1) Increase the resolution and scale down all of the screens so that more can fit on the display. Look at the ProTools console or even the Presonus Studio One Console. They can fit 48 tracks on one screen. In Sonar with ProChannels open and narrow strips I can get maybe 34 tracks and even less with ProChannels open. I sure most people have HD displays that need it. Seems like there is a lot of wasted space at the top of the console. Make the strips thinner using the space at the top.
2) Some more color options would be nice.

1. Track boundary to extend downward to re-encompass Take Lanes like they did Layers, so that there's no mistaking Lanes vs. Tracks. Also make the buttons of the Take Lanes smaller or the Tracks larger. Allow separate background shade for Lanes.
 
2. Add "Entire album of Projects" export archiving tool to back up a whole album's worth of worth into a single, large archive file.
 
3. Offer a large-scale video scaling for large touch-screens and allow them to expand to up to eight 40" monitors, or the ability to "swipe" your way around a full-sized console.
 
4. Allow removal of the PC EQ. Allow the FX bin in the track to expand in height. Allow mouse-scroll to move up and down the height of a track, if the whole height isn't shown.
 
4a. Bigger faders. 120mm would be nice. 
 
5. Ability to disable parts of the DAW, such as the whole MIDI engine, if you're working a project that doesn't use MIDI, or you don't use PC, Notation, etc.
 
6. While Editing give me the ability to refine my selection, even though we know it's possible to adjust after the Paste.
 
7. Create a "tester" for latency by allowing a test signal to be played, recorded, and then repeat, so that Sonar can actually measure a signal's latency through actual cabling, for example. This can manually be done (to the sample) using the metronome.
 
8. Give me a control for Zoom sensitivity using a mouse-wheel.
 
9. Give me (like Loop Construction window) a track view for a selected track. Maybe even one for all the Take Lanes. Since you can use the Inspector to look at the PC and console view of a single track, why not offer the converse when in Console View, meanwhile eliminating all other tracks from view. Yes I know you can hide the other tracks or use Track Manager to do this as well, but it's not nearly as easy.
 
10. Allow the solo'd Take Lane to appear in the Track when the Take Lanes are collapsed.

That would be pretty cool, I have that option turned on in Photoshop and it works really well.

That (in a word) changes EVERYTHING.

Complete the Sonar X2 Producer "survey" and just maybe "some" of your wishes, just may become true - did you get the survey; did you take the time to fill it out???? 

1)id like to be able to resize only some tracks in the console view. some narrow / some wide.
2)folders in the console view.
3)id like to have jump markers (almost like the regular makers only the option to list the order in which they play
4)a button to edit take lanes on the fly(press it once to punch in / press it again to punch out)this way you could comp in real time.
5)staff view upgrades, I don't use staff view but a lot of peeps do and that's important to me that others are happy.
6)everyone happy, I know, it'll never happen.

More touch please. Rather than playing guitar I'd like to be able to strum my monitor.

Mind you, I reckon it would be really useful if we could drag the edges of console strips to resize them, in much the same way as tracks can be resized in the Track View.
