I'm also patiently waiting for Peter do his magic on using GC's in the Custom Shop.....that SVX 2 has my name written all over it.

Great to see IK doing this for the ARC user base......one small step for IK, one giant step for mankind.

I would think so.  GCs are always available at significant discount.  Running a generic sale and taking GCs would be like double coupon day at SafeWay.

I believe Bob's point was they just recently had GC Sale, and you could
still us Jampoints when purchased already discounted GC's!  Now, couple
that with the fact that they allow you to buy new sale items with GC's and
you are technically paying a lot less...

I believe that is what he was speaking of...

Hey, as long as my current version of ARC works with T-RackS 5 I'm happy

Sorry, Kite.  I'm not trying to minimize your concerns.  We all have them, and they're all valid from our own perspective.

I was eventually going to use jam points and start buying gear credits almost on a monthly basis. BTW it was last April when they had a deal on gear credits.  I was hoping to store up gear credits and get something I really want. They get their money now for something I want later.  It's been on this forum some have said gear credits are almost worthless.  This causes a lot of mistrust with IK. Then they have to woo back dissenters with group buys and freebies than it's back to normal. It's like the abused spouse returning.  It's the mistrust that comes along with IK.  I may be speculating and confuse pre order with intro price.  I just don't come across these issues with other companies. Some are less confusing to deal with.  Consumer confidence and confusion are two opposites.

I don't even come across these issues with IK, it has always seemed pretty simple to me, and I don't see Gear Credits as useless, don't have a problem with them or Jam Points. In the end with all the deals, group buys, Gear Credit sales etc, you can end up with a lot of good stuff for not that much at all considering. I have all the Amplitube stuff, all the T Racks stuff, all the Sampletank stuff, Lursen etc, and for what I got it for it's pretty much a bargain in my eyes.

You can get GC deals right now in CS.  Anything $150 and above gets you a discount.  10% at 150 up to 50% at 1500.

Gear credits on sale were great for me while amassing the entire Amplitube & T-Racks Custom Shop offerings.

Now that I own all that, just awaiting the arrival of my T-Racks 5 MAX upgrade,  plus Lurssen and MODO; GC's are kind of pointless for me now. I now have 15 gifted GCs and $26 in jampoints. I no longer have a sense of them burning a hole in my pocket.

You and I are in about the same place with IK stuff.  I have *almost* everything they offer.  Once T-RackS 5 w/ARC 2.5 become a reality, I'll add to my paltry points/credits and grab the MEMS mic.

Jam points are back. What is a 205 error? Is it because I'm at a different PC than the one I would usually be on?

Sometimes the browser will cause this.  Try a different browser if
you have one and try to order.  I had this problem a while ago...
but it corrected itself

I can still report this but it would be best to have system information (especially OS and browser, specific versions for each).  May be a bit tough to track down, but might be worth letting the IT team know regardless.

I have a similar issue, though it happens all the time, when purchasing anything on the Microsoft/Xbox stores using Chrome.  Oddly, any link works the first time but any subsequent attempt will throw an error.  In that case I may lean toward a conspiracy since everything works EVERY time in Edge... :)
