I'm still amazed at how far you've come with your orchestration Janet, really, just awesome.

Very impressive piece Janet, really sounds great. The cymbals sound fine too me, I listened twice and was more impressed each time, great job!

This sounds very nice indeed.  Orchestra arrangment is awesome.  Love those timpanis!

Thank you Dan.  I'm impressed that you listened two times. :)

Thanks Rick.  I agree with Jim (JY)--nice to see you around again.  :)

WOW!

I think this is the first fully orchestral arrangement I've heard from you.

I'm late to the party here I know so I don't know what ground has been covered here already, but here goes my 2 pennies worth.

It sounds pretty good overall I think some more stereo panning to seperate out the various sections would have been nice, other than that it sounds pretty much on the money.

The tune itself is sublime, very cinematic and with very strong themes which is what I'd expect from an accomplished tunesmith such as yourself.  I can see this as an awesome intro to an epic film based in pre-revolutionary Russia.

Breathtaking.

Hey there Jon.  There's still plenty of food, so you're not too late.  ;)

I think you've missed a couple if this is the first orchestral piece of mine you've heard.  But yes, they're rare, for sure.

Stereo panning....Jim (JY) mentioned that too, but I'm not quite sure how to tackle that area. (because I'm using channel tools like Ron suggested.  Must not be doing it right.)  Any ideas are most welcome.

You're also not the first to mention a Russian theme, which I heard AFTER Robby mentioned it.  :)

Thanks again for stopping by and for the kudos.  I appreciate it a lot.
