    At last! :)

Edit - Don't know if it's the enthusiasm that makes me dumb, but trying to get a simple demo is quite an adventure.

Between the error messages, the need to log in every time you click on a link, being re-re-redirected to iLock's web's site (?!!) at one point, I give up for now.

I actually received an e-mail shortly after I wrote here thanking me for demo'ing the products. Clicked on a link there and managed to get to my download.

Takes forever to download a single plug-in, but they must be flooded.

That's my question.  To update all my licenses to V9 will I have to pay??
(I believe the last quote I had to re-WUP everything I've got was $175)

Or is this a "free" update?

Hard to say about you myolpal. I had both the "upgrade" and "update" options in my account.  I used the update option and therefore (since I have a current paid in full WUP) it was free for me.

    Installing now.

That's the whole point of WUP. If you're covered then any update is free.

Ain't no man nor beast kin Wup me.  Or can they?

Naw, I don't think I've ever paid a WUP fee to waves ever.  I just use what I got.  And the only thing I've ever got while I was under my first years WUP that comes with buying something was the Maserati "Group" add on.  No...wait...I take that back.  I did pay a fee when I updated my GTR years ago.  But other than that I am UN-WUPed.  As I said their latest price for Re-WUPing everything I have was $175...so I guess that's what it will cost me.  Sigh.  I'll have to rationalize it somehow tho...I cain't look at it like a WUPpin.  I cain't have that;-)

PS:  OK...here's another question for ya...If you do the new "cloud" license thingy do you have to delete your licenses from your iLok (which, as in my case, may contain other vendors licenses as well) or can your new USB Waves flashdrive co-exist with your old iLok??  Riddle me that.

Man, that Kramer TTT bundle - that's the sound some of my favorite albums on my own songs!!

I shouldn't have demo'ed that one. I almost wish they'd go back to iLock, it's way too hard to resist!

    Myolpal,

I just de-installed V8 software, installed V9 on my USB thumb drive. Had the TD and iLok in and V9 runs just fine. I did nothing to delete V8 license from iLok.

The two things I probably use the most are my CLA and Maserati Sginature series...both V7.  A goodly  number of my individual plugs are still under WUP.  Can anyone state IF this a paid update and if so how does it work??

If I were a guessing man I'd say you would still need ilok if you bought some V8 or V7 plugs off people who want to be rid of them. But on v9 you simply can't use iLok (AFAIK).
