c'mon guys, can people not just chill out for once, smoke a joint or something ?? i know people are in different to x1 and fair enuff we are all a bit guilty for getting hot headed but it just never seems to stop on here, as far as forum rules go, registered user should have a ticket like your reg number to post on here, and as long as your not threating to come round to someones house and spray then with a ak 47, then most people should be able to voice their opinion within reason!!

Bub:

You are unable to post a quote from Seth that demonstrates he "...was making comments about paid updates?"

Speculation from users about what Seth meant is not factual data. You can not provide proof that Cakewalk has made "comments about paid updates," so please stop spreading that misinformation. How would you like someone to spread misinformaion about you? It's not good is it? Just stop this type of crap, man?

You're your own person, you don't have to base your reactions of anything on the speculation of others. Misinformation is a soft way to describe this. Another way is that it's a lie. Come on, Bub? I'm sure you're better than that. Don't spread misinformation?

You know what's really stupid about the childish crap going on between strat, tom, and myself is ...  we all agree. We all think X1 is going to be great. It's just, one crazy misinterpretation after another and we rub each other the wrong way. Sometimes that just happens in life. I suppose I should block them and ignore them, but it would be the first time I've ever had to do that.

Ah well, what's this joint thing you speak of? :)

Hah, we both posted at the same time.

I'll let my post stand unedited.

Hehe. Oh! I'd edit my post if I were you. :) You're gonna get banned or something. hehe.

Believe it or not, it grows wild here in Iowa. They planted it along the railroad tracks to make rope out of it during World War II and the birds ate the seeds and the spread it all over the state.

I agree. I'm a little tired of people getting attacked because they have a different opinion or X1 of haven't been here whatever length of time someone has to be here to be here long enough.

Yeah - I'm also tired of people who come on here and continually bash the product, complaining that a certain feature has "MAJOR ISSUES" yet when pressed as to what those issues are, completely ignore the question!

The first issue isn't really your business. The second isn't true and while I am happy that you are so concerned about me, I really don't need your help. I also can't help but notice that you still have 8.5.3 in your signature. Is there some reason that you aren't using X1?

Stop lying!!!!

I've asked you twice on this thread:

http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.aspx?m=2227309

what your problem with the Export function is - all you've said so far is that it requires "Major Work" and yet you alone seem to be having problems using this most basic of functions.

As for why I'm using 8.5.3 - is that really any of your business?

You don't need anyone's help 10, all you do is whine all day long.

I have explained my position many times here. Your ignorance of the matter doesn't change it. AFA you using 8.5.3 it is my business because you like to stick up for X1 though you don't actually use it.

You want my reasons for currently using 8.5?

Search for it.

i think what the problem with old 10/10 is it's the time of the month, what you have to appreciate is, when a human being posseses both the re-productive of both male and female, the menstration cycle is actually prolonged and can go on for years, one scientists theory is it's the body's defence mechanism against " self inpregnation", the poor guy, have a heart everyone, and try and understand the guys predicament ??

I've been coming to this forum for a long time and there have always been disagreements, sometimes downright nasty ones (rarely).
Lately, though, we have been visited by a number of folks who seem determined to turn any sort of discussion into something unpleasant and unproductive.
Not naming any names, just sayin' (you know who you are, and so do we))
These people seem to be driven by a need for attention and sadly, they mostly get it.
I say sadly because I've noticed that a lot of folks who use to hang around and offer a lot of help to others are conspicuous by their abscence.
Curiously, these folks who are ostensibly musicians or engineers or producers never seem (for the most part) to provide any links to any of their work. I wonder why?

I discovered that it is possible to block posts from individual members. I've only blocked one forum member, who just happens to be mentioned a lot in this thread. I suggest that if anyone regularly gets irritated with a certain set of users, just block them. It makes for a nicer forum experience all around.

It sure would be nice if we had some moderation and holding a lot of people to the TOS like the OP suggested. I guess that just isn't going to happen.

I've only noticed a couple of users who are regular irritants. There really aren't that many who bring almost nothing useful to these discussions. I blocked one of them and another one was banned by the mods before I blocked him. That's all that has been necessary, so far.

It's too bad, really. Some people just can't figure out that the way a message is delivered is often just as important as the message.

Wait a minute! What am I doing? I can't stand cats! Vile little scratching, biting, shedding, smelly little varmints that they are. I much prefer dogs. You know, something manly that eats it's own poop and puke.
