Good grief... a perfect illustration of why I don't come here much any more.

I'm off back to where the children have all grown up and actually deserve an internet connection...

Hello Cakewalk-

I hope the forum moderators will step up and do something. Please enforce your own rules about avatars and language, at least, since these forums are open to all.

Thanks-

-Susan

Well I don't quite understand what everyones got their rears in the air about. I've been on this forum for about 4 years with a couple of different screen names or whatever you call them. I've found a veritable wealth of information here. I've never come across a more cooperative collective group of participants in almost 20 years online. I have found Susan to be particularly helpful about Sonar's midi editing and general nomenclature. I read the above statement that she originally stated and find nothing at all portentios or attacking..... and certainly not deserving of such harsh retort. I have seen a number of avatars that were out and out exploitive of nudity..... I don't have issues with a little titilation. But, I do respect her having issues with them and she had not made a big deal about it..just simply said if I may paraphrase " Hey..we do have a certain standards on this forum, they are stated in the TOS, how about the moderators step up and enforce them. That's all I take away from her OT.
I can state catagorically that if a few people on this forum posted avatars of some Dude in a G-String with the ass hanging out, that I would complain too, and probably a lot louder and more rudely than what Susan did. Cut some slack...chill out. Have some respect.

Excuse me Reverend, didn't Jesus say that's why you'll find me with the sinners? Because they are the ones who need me most?

For a post that I dont completely understand, this has gone on 7 pages and I am contributing the 184th post. Sure there are some avatars that are offensive occasionally, but I have attributed them to youguns. Unlike the mature avatar above mine. Nah Nah Nah...Nah Nah Nah... Nah Nah... Nah.

If you're going to use someone else's line, you should give them the credit.

The cigar post has more merit than this thread.

Hi Oaf-
The cigar post has more merit than this thread.

Well, the cigar post has been moved; this one hasn't. I'd just as soon the reverse, but it's up to CW!

I like a forum that is lightly moderated. It's much nicer than other forums that are patrolled by iron-fisted moderator-Nazis.

You appear to have hit the nail on the head, the problem is, this forum isn't even lightly moderated, it's a free for all from what I can see.
