Your studio picture thread! Lets see your Sonar X1 Rig!

Hi all.

Thought it would be fun to see everyones rigs around here so I figured I'd start it off.

This is my Sonar X1 rig. Unfortunately I wasn't on the bootcamp side when taken these photos but you'll get the idea.

Mac Pro Specs. 2 Xeons westmires @ 12 cores (24 cores total), 20 gigs of ram, and 10 terabytes of hard drive storage. Near fields or HR-824s, and a few of my classic hardware synths I've kept from years past.

P.S : The midi controller is a A-800 Pro from Cakewalk Roland. This controller is the best on the market, was a fantastic purchase. Feels like one of my real, old roland synths. Semi weighted keys, buttons are solid.

Hope you enjoyed my preview.

Very nice setup you have Scott.

Hotel rooms, a laptop w/ a bunch of usb peripherals, software, a couple of guitars and wire hanging looses don't really make for anything comparable. But since my setup isn't based around X1, that spares me the embarrassment.

And the old setup back home never reached the X1 upgrade either. ;)

    Hi Clifford,
Strangely enough, there is a lava lamp on the floor beneath the Blue lollipop mic in the photo. I can't decide whether to be amused or ashamed :)

    Hi Rain,
Thanks.  Yeah, the green drapes really are ugly.  I got them because they were the thickest material I could find...gotta suck up those reflections off the window.

Are those green?! I saw them as deep shades of dark grey (or pale black) and black. I actually like them.
In fact I had the the whole room pictured out as red and black - which is why I said it fits my own palette. :s I'm going colorblind.
