Ocean Way Drums/Drum Masters Group Buy at esoundz - Update

The Ultimate Studio Drums Download Group Buy - Includes Drums from Ocean Way Drums and Drum Masters

epointz referral name: DevlinSP (we both get points if you use a referral name)

Features of Ocean Way Drums: http://www.oceanwaydrums.net/features.php

Audio Samples of Ocean Way Drums: http://www.oceanwaydrums.net/audio2.php

Info about Drum Masters series: http://www.sonicreality.com/index.ph...master-series/

UPDATE: 14 more to go to $99.00

Recent updates and incentives:

* EZPlayer PRO if it hits 300

Squids: Toontrack's EZ Player Pro (normally $50) will come FREE with this group buy if it hits 300.

* Coupons included to use towards upgrades (to the DL, Silver, Gold, or Platinum versions) of either, or both, Ocean Way Drums and/or Drum Masters.

Squids: But the SECOND thing that makes this group buy worth getting - even if you own other DM or OWD stuff is that you will get a lot of discount coupons to upgrade from it... some coupons will be up to $99 OFF so that would make this group buy essentially FREE at that point... a great stepping stone for anyone as well. For instance, the new Drum Masters 2 Signature collections - one of which has samples of signature Copeland, Weckl, Gadd and Chambers snares will have a 50% coupon that you can only get from joining this group buy... well the price of that is normally $229 so you'd actually get $115 off the MSRP (and that's $99 off the street price which is $199) so... it might be nice to have both this AND that for the same price as getting JUST that later.

* Possibility of more E-Drumming/V-Drum capabilities.

Squids: This one depends if we do it but as long as it works we will and that is the new Drum Masters 2 features such as V-Drum and general Custom E-Drum support in both DM and OWD but only in this Group Buy. Those features do include a very advanced round robin and other new things. Even if the Multichannel do support V-Drum and have some round robin in it too... this is not only more advanced but it also gives more control to the user.

Final Date: Wednesday, December 30th 2009
Number Currently Enrolled: 186
Most you could pay: $109.00
Least you could pay: $99.00

So close now - so close......

I got the e-mail as well. I think I'm going to jump on this. I really like the OWD stuff that came with Session Drummer 3. Wonder what the player will be like.

I bought the player with epointz I had (so I could get the 'extra' Jazz set).

It's based on Kontakt so I'll assume it's similar in style.

Have not loaded it yet. Gotta find a cheap sound so that I can use it.

Thanks, Bapu. I have Kontakt player, and I like it pretty well. If the player is anything like it, then I'm sure it will be excellent.

    Just a bump.

As of right now the count is 99. Almost half way there.

Tell all your freinds. 102 more and the cost is $99.

259 - on our way to 300 and including EZPlayer PRO or a multitrack kit instead (If you already have EZPlayer PRO).  Dave (Squids) is starting to talk about the possible extras as the numbers increase - check out the information over in the KVR Thread.  Just spreading the word.

So here's a question. I already have EZdrummer and Superior 2 (+ Nashville/jazz/vintage expansions). I can't imagine I could ever need additional drums - but will I kick myself if I don't get in on that group buy?

I'm a bad one to ask because I feel I can never have enough drums.  I suffer from chronic GAS.  I guess it depends on whether you could use more drums.  If what you have meets your needs then by all means, skip it.  But if your like me and the thrill of new toys makes you giddy, then buy in.

looks interesting.. it works in Kontakt right? but v3.5?!?!

say I don't want their infinite engine playback engine.. do I still get the nashville kit?!?!

I'm miffed they *coughed* me over with other SR products, but this deal looks nice.. tempting.. and wonder if it could be re-used to be in say Session drummer 2-3 etc :)

You need the infinite player to authorise the sample library - once authorised it can be loaded into Kontact - even K4.

Samples are in Kontact format so would require conversion for Session Drummer etc.

cool.. converting from kontakt to sfz isn't too much of an issue.. as I've done it with other things. but probably would still need to do editing to get it sorted on the pads front.

At 343 as of this morning with 13 days to go.  Let's help get the word out to all your music friends and places you visit on the web.  We have already earned EZPlayer PRO for free at 300 (or a downloadable multi-track kit from DM2 if you already have EZPlayer PRO.)

Next up is the 400 mark with the addition of over 100 more midi grooves from ODD GROOVES, a set of odd time signature and more complex grooves than you normally see.  Let's try and get that and more.

Just in case people have not been following along, there are also coupons now available that are providing good discounts towards the various products this group buy is pulled from.  See the quote below from the thread over at KVR.  It all equates to a really great buy with added incentives if you are at all thinking about getting the full versions.

Okay I have the coupon info part 1 which includes what you can use it on for OWD and EpiK DrumS. The Drum Masters 2 Coupons will come a little later and run through the end of February (so two weeks longer if that helps).

Important note about coupons: They cannot be used at the same time as any other promo or discount system such as epointz, membership discounts... if you have epointz and use the coupon the epointz will stay in your account to be used on something else (you can still earn more epointz with a referral though). Your membership discount is bypassed and it is the amount below taken off the price you'd see if you weren't logged in (to avoid confusion, that's all you have to do to see). So it is off "street price" or "base price" which is what we call it. However, that means it is even MORE of a discount off the MSRP than the street price already is in the first place... bottom line is that it equates to some really nice discounts for everybody in the group buy.

NOTE: The coupons will work by some time tonight. I will let you know when they are active.

    ----------------

Pre-requirements to use these coupons: Purchase of regular Ultimate Studio Drums GB or the Paypal Version

What you can use the coupon codes on for special discounts only for those that joined this group buy. They will start later today December 16th and expire February 15th, 2010:
