Yep I blame the forum for my lack of productivity. I can't help myself. I've tried running a DAW with no internet connection but I just took the laptop in instead so now I'm reconnected and take the laptop in to the studio. So I now have the forum in stereo. I wonder if I could get bapu interested in that idea as a way of posting even more. Left hand on one keyboard, right hand on the other.

FastBikerBoy Well done Steve, some of your your posts make me laugh anyway, and laughter is the best medicine advice.... or something like that. I stopped taking myself too seriously a long time ago mate I mean, nobody else does And unlike a few round these parts, the sense of my own self-importance has always been rooted firmly on the ground. I think that those here who've been lucky enough to meet me (Bapu and Jonbouy) might tell you that I'm the same in real life as I am on here. A bleedin' eejut

Cactus Music Holy Cow, that just took 20 min. to read to update since my last post here, This is taking up a lot of my valuable time were I could be helping someone. But it was educational if what I was looking for was personality profiles on forum members. Thanks for your recognition of my efforts John. I didn't read the thread in question and at the risk of being toasted to death I get the feeling I would be on your side there. I just worry about some members spending to much time on ( ???) when they should be putting all that creative energy into songwriting and recording. If we delete all the off topic this would still be on page 1 and a half decent thread. I think I'm going to Grear Slutz and see if anyone needs help with their MIDI cables...:) Its not a question of taking sides. All that does is divide us when we are here for the purpose of learning more about Sonar. When looking through this thread I think its clear why I posted in the CH what I did. Now as in the past far too often posters have stolen threads with moronic posts. They didn't just take it off topic they infused it with dribble. Inconsequential mutterings that add nothing to this forum or to the topic opened by the OP. It happens often enough to be most discouraging. A bit of humor is a welcomed thing on occasion when its clever and actually funny. It is not even in compliance to the TOS when it destroys a thread as it has this one. Yet the people that continue this practice see nothing wrong with it. Or that anyone would object to it. When someone does, they come in in force and attack that person. It really needs to stop. I don't know what the OP intended when he started this thread but it was a golden opportunity to have a dialog about what we as a forum could do to improve it. I think now after one views this thread the situation will be completely understood by most.

If you didn't know what the OP intended then how could that be a golden opportunity to improve it? Genuinely curious. That doesn't seem to make sense at all. Is that the sort of dribble infusion you're referring to?

I can dribble with the best of them, bit of a speciality for me dribbling. Especially if I'm out having a couple of jars while chatting up some birds. Dribble really flows then, especially if the wife catches me.

John, seriously, do you ever actually use your copy of SONAR? You know, to make some music with? To me it seems that playing at 'forum cop' takes up most of your spare time.

Reference the jars, I think there must be several because I've spent my whole life from the age of about 14 trying to drink them all, and I've not finished yet.
