You won't find Hendrix, Ampeg, Orange, Fender, etc...included...
and Mesa is an "expansion"...so obviously won't be included...

Looks like I have 19 points. I guess I will have to decide if this is where I want to use them. Like Clint, Amplitube and S Gear are the only 2 I really use anymore. I probably lean towards Amplitube a little more, mostly because I have established my own presets that I can call up quickly. It usually fits in my mix best as well.

I guess they will back into it saying if you were an existing user you might have jam points, which can be applied toward the cash cost. But then again if you have gear credits, I don't think you can apply jam points to get a reduction of gear credits for the upgrade. In that case you can buy more gear credits discounted by the jam points. I believe that is the current model. (apologies if wrong.)
They could/arguably should do something like give existing AT3 users 30 gear credits that could be used toward the upgrade. That would seem to fit into the system they set up.

I was wrong I have $33 in jam points. Can I pre order A4 in Custom Shop? If so, I could by 75 gear credits (really = 87) for $53 ($22 is max jam points I can apply) which added to my existing 30 gear credits which gets me pre-ordered A4 for $53. <edit: for cclarrity>

Unless you have straggling fear credits (99) and it's yours to pre-order. Like me I had 35 gear credits. Needed 65 more. Bought 75 (deducted 22 jamopints) and the 75 gave me 87 (gear credits sale until the 19th). Only had to out lay $53 today. So I added the 87 to my 35 gear credits and when I get home to my Custom Shop I'll pre-order A4. $53 is schweet.

This looks like an awesome upgrade. The one thing still on my wish list is the ability to host vst effects. That would make ARC and all of the T-Racks effects useable in stand alone mode. It seems like current AT3 users should have an upgrade path that is more reasonable/rewarding than a first time purchase. The current credit promotion only helps if you have existing credits. I have 10 which doesn't really help. Fortunately I have plenty of jam points. I think I'll wait until the dust settles, hopefully before 9/16.
