I can't reproduce this one, but I might be in the wrong place. What do you mean by "VST drop-down menu"?

Yes, I was using the properties option in the Synth Rack tab, and not having any trouble, either.

The issue of Bitbridged plugins not being dockable has been mentioned, though perhaps not in this thread.

BEFORE installing jBridge on X1a / 64

1. softsynths don't want to synchronise with project tempo. No way.
2. the same with all tempo-based VST effects
3. After loading track from template - wchich uses Guitar Rig -
in Guitar rig you can't see "gear". You have to click&load preset "by hand".

AFTER installing and "scanning" plugins with jBridge:

1. Percussion Strip - want to open it and I can see only grey window - no matter with or without jBridge. Fortunatelly presets work. Fortunatelly - other EFX Strips work and displaying as they should.
2. Guitar Rig 4 (full) - doesn't display "modules" after you load or change presets. With jBridge. Without jBridge - it works "normally".
3. After loading track from template - wchich uses Guitar Rig -
in Guitar rig you can't see "gear". You have to click&load preset to see modules in right wndow. But - look up to point 2. With jBridge - there's oly black window, no modules at all, even if you load a preset.

Buss envelope copy & paste bug Bug report CWBRN-3739

Description to reproduce

1. Create a buss envelope with several nodes
2. Select several of the envelopes.
3. Ctrl-C to copy
4. Move the now time to where you wish to paste the envelopes
5. Ctrl-V to paste

Expected result

The nodes to be pasted into the existing envelope data

Actual result

The nodes are pasted and the existing envelope data deleted

I found something just now , If anyone else can confirm? I just opened an instance of Rapture LE , I recorded a bass line ,Now if you leave arm for record on the levels peak into the red while play back, click dis-arm levels fall where it should be. I dont think is normal for a Vst, a mic with echo on I can see , Maybe I'm wrong but though it would be worth mentioning. Maybe Im overlooking something.

I have a virtual bolt instead of the comp switch in ProChannel.  No way to switch from the 1176 to SSL.  Anyone else seen this.  I did have the switch, but I think it disappeared before X1.1 update.  I'm running on Vista 32, if that makes a difference.

Just last night I noticed something that might be related....
 
On my Master Bus I always keep a brickwall limiter (I tend to mix/master as I go).   It's set for a ceiling of -2db.
 
Never had a problem before...but in X1, using an FX setup I've used a gazillion times before, the reading shows a ceiling of -1.3db.   The only difference is ... Pro Channel (even though I'm NOT using it on this project).
 
Something is not right there.

Sonar X1a will not rewire to Propellerhead's Record, it opens Reason instead.

I haven't read this entire thread - but here's one real bad bug for me - I'm wondering if anyone else has seen/mentioned/reported it:

If I am in the PRV and select some notes and want to quantize them, "Q" does NOTHING. 

I've tried it in a few proejcts.  Nada.  Zilch.

Also when bringing up the PRV (btw, this is in the multi-dock), I have the controller pane visible and the dock ALWAYS comes up with the controller pane taking up most of the screen real estate and the notes are way up top almost hidden.

If this has been brought up already, I humbly apologize.   But even if so, can someone else confirm what I'm seeing?

TrackView zoom in using mouse while holding the alt-key - focus isn't fixed in the middle like it does when klicking on zoom in icon (was working in Sonar 8.xx)

Language of OS is DE, keyboard layout also (DE), sonar X1 installed in english. Undo(in DE ctrl+Z) using keyboard ist not possible as expeted instead it works with ctrl+y where in english key-layout Z is normally placed!

The stepping procedure suppose to be ctrl-shift-spacebar will advance the sequencer. It is not working with my X1. To verify, I loaded up Sonar 8.5 and it works there. I will say this is a broken feature in X1, because I checked the X1 user manual and it describes it as the method to use:

Synth rack:

• when synth rack is docked in multidock, with 4 or more synths in the rack, and the list is scrolled up using the scrollbar, the "Assign Controls" and "Show/Hide Controls" buttons no longer activate tooltips or accept button presses, unless you point the mouse pointer way below the actual buttons.  When you point at the actual buttons, the Freeze button (above it) is actually activated.

CV- Set As Default Bus- Resets/ unchecks itself after inserting 2 or more busses.

SONAR X1 BUG WITH REASON REWIRED

Sonar X1 does not send midi data via rewire to Reason while recording a midi track (It will play the track you are recording but Sonar will not send any pre recorded midi data from the sequencer). This bug has been confirmed now from multiple sources.

Looks like this is a "recording count-in issue under the metronome option". If you have a count in active. Sonar does not send the midi data. If you sent the count in to 0, it works as intended.
