I'm hoping these videos come out more consistently. The "waves" Cakewalk are making in the Audio industry are bigger than ever in the past year! Lets keep arming ourselves with all the tools we need to spread the word that Sonar is the way to go! :-)

The only reason the length is a little long is related to the banter towards the beginning.  This is to be expected in a non-edited "flow" of a demonstration where it isn't scripted.  Tightening up, cutting out some of the non-fundamental parts would make it more accessible for quick consumption (discussion of the kick, console, outboard gear could be trimmed down for example).  But there was certainly value in the video, and was absolutely worth my time sitting through them.

Its great this way. I liked it when they talked abt the pre amps  they recorded in and some other stuffs. Its cool this way it feels like I am really with two guys in the studio spending some time and  learning something with them it feels very natural and friendly than tightened scripted videos! Please keep continuing this way, its all good :)

Please do a comprehensive Staff View video. I don't think Cakewalk ever have, nor have any guides such as SWA or Groove

Sort of fell into an abyss it seems.  I found the videos to be helpful, instructional and interesting.  Apparently, that was the kiss of death.

iirc, last discussion was about "what next in the videos" with "something from the ezine" being a popular idea - who knows what might come next, if anything (user-created videos?)

I believe that Craig Anderton mentioned that Joey left the company and went back to college to get a degree.
Even so, the videos were a good resource.

I missed that Joey left for college so it makes more sense that the videos would be affected.

I wonder if it was a "those two guys" thing, not really a company thing?

Benefit of the doubt I guess.  It was a free service after all.

CW marketing is missing the ball on this one.  Look at the competition, many how to's and whats news coming out.  Youtube is your friend.   Craig is doing a great service for CW and us minions, keeping the creative juices flowing, and its greatly appreciated!!!  I understand the Mac OS effort must be an all hands on deck, so I wouldn't expect engineering to be filling in here.  I would like to make some videos myself but this working for a living this is getting in the way.  Just rooting for the home team, I guess...

Ken
