After reading all these posts for the hell of it (downloading some more crap) it really looks like computer build problems, having said that not a burp from my rig and its a home built. Me thinks perhaps cake is doing the best they can chasing down a problem for a small amount of folks. Good luck with getting up and running again guys.

I would give version 12 a big thumbs up as of now.
2016.11 definitely broke a few things as did the Win 10 update and this combined to hose my laptop setup - but I'm still running Win 7 on my DAW and so far no problems

Does your Delete key work ?  Seems 12 has some problems with that :   Delete key no longer works?.

I just updated to 12, but haven't used it yet (and wonder if I should...)

It's a strange feeling to fear installing an update.  I used to look forward to it.

Delete key works here with 2016.12, but I'm using a standard keyboard. I've also rolled back and returned for testing purposes with no issues.

One thing I get with 12 is that Sonar insists on bringing forward some previously opened application when it opens a project, so it's always initially under another program's window.

My delete key stopped working as well.  I switch my lens from 'none' to anything else and it works.  Ended up editing the Advanced lens and saving it as a custom.  Also, my insert 'Mark' button on my Alphatrack has stopped working as well.  Can't find a fix for that one.  Argh... Work flow has been disrupted.

PS:  I'm running Windows 7 64bit, so this is not just a Windows 10 issue.

Edit:  Looks like the Insert Mark issue is being addressed.   Been so busy I haven't had to read the forums.  :-)

Well although This has helped me understand what's going on, It certainly won't help with fixing it. Good reads here!
