New SONAR X2 Producer Content Club

The free DSF Symphonic Strings promotion was such a huge success, that we decided to create a new program designed to reward all early adopters. Starting today, all SONAR X2 Producer users automatically get a free membership to the SONAR X2 Producer Content Club. As a club member you’ll gain exclusive access to FREE synthesizer expansion packs, audio loops, video tutorials, and much more. Every other month Cakewalk will feature new content from one of our industry partners valued at $30 or greater. Early adopters will get every featured offering as they become available.

I just read the email. How nice. I've been reading a cat fight on gearslutz about what is a "PRO" laptop or not that has now gone off the rails into other PRO arguments....a  war of beliefs including firewire vs usb and even Sonar ( perhaps because it doesn't say PRO in the title LOL). Anyway, I thought this is dull and went to my inbox and was nicely rewarded for it. Thank you Cakewalk! and I thank me, too, for going with CW in 1998 and buying X2 a few weeks ago. I like free stuff! How fun!

If I try to sign up for the Cakewalk Newsletter, the web page tells me I'm already signed up, but that I have no subscriptions. When I click on the link to choose subscriptions, I get a sign-up page and from there, I'm in an endless loop bouncing between the two pages. Help...

Aw, sh*t. I've waited years to be able to use that Groucho Marx line about not wanting to be a Member of any club that would have me as a Member. Guess it will have to wait...??

I too have signed up numerous times for the "Cakewalk Newsletter" to no avail.  Even sent an email to Customer Support.  They responded  that  I was added on Sept 11th of this year.

Still no email/ newsletter from Cakewalk.

Everyone else bombards me with email.  What gives?  This should be so simple but lots of us have the same problem.  WHY?

    +1

...and I'm sure there are LOT'S MORE out there in the same boat...

I corresponded with Dean in Customer Service MANY times about the fact that I haven't received A SINGLE EMAIL from Cake...

And I've been a Customer since 2005!!!  That's pretty ridiculous....

I was INSURED by Dean that I had been added to the Email list (that I had already subscribed to a dozen times)

STILL NOT A SINGLE EMAIL.....not for the upgrade AS PROMISED....not at ALL...

It's amazing that they can write a computer program like Sonar...but they can't get their EMAIL to work....

    Go Figure....

Anyways...as longs as these end up in my account...I'm ok....I'd still like to get the emails...but
the "perks" are little better then the emails!!!

Good news, though I'm a little confused,my purchase of X2,is not listed in my "purchases/products",only the extras, and videos, are listed in that part of "My Account[though everything is in the "serial no's. downloads"]

Also,my boxed version of X2,has NOT arrived yet, which is surprising,as it was $35 "postage",which was the same, and only offered choice for Scott G's "X1 Power" book as well, and THAT,turned up in "record" time [3 days],so I hope it turns up soon, considering.
    Bob

EDIT!! It[boxed X2] Just Arrived!!,Thankyou Cakewalk[especially for the"extra"gift]you guys deserve to be the "industry standard",if you'd like that?,personally,it's kind of cool having something, that a lot of the "others" don't know how good it is [yet!].

    Sincerely
    Bob

    Hi  Andrew Rossa,
That sounds like very good news. Are the new content new material that haven't been released yet?  Please don't laugh at me when I say this. sshhhh. I just want to make sure your "new content" is not something that I had purchased earlier.

Yeah me too, using SONAR since the early days and tried so many times to "sign-up"...and again just a few minutes ago (I'm an X2 user with a big smile on my face every time I use it)....but I'm in that endless loop of signing-up...oh well...too busy to care...need to turn on my V-Drums and get back to work.

Well my purchase is still not in my account with download link and serial number, and my box set have never arrived.
No news letter/offers from Cakewalk either, despite the fact i'm a long time customer that used to get the emails.

I don't know if it is good news or not when I probably can't access it any way

Cool. Are there any additional steps we need to take to properly enroll or have we automatically been enrolled as X2 Producer owners already???
