For those people who do not receive any Cakewalk mail, please contact your provider. They probably have spamfilters in place. Ask them to add Cakewalk to the "green list".

I'm in Holland and I DO receive the emails Cakewalk sends out. Lots of tips in those mails so make sure you get them.

I think if that were the problem we wouldn't be getting emails confirming a purchase and other emails involved with the purchase. We just cannot get notices and tips etc. I have no junk email box in my main provider account using Windows Live.

Still, I know for a fact that Comcast does indeed block some senders and for no good reason I can see. I will check with them (if I can get to someone who can help) and see if that fixes it. Good idea.

Andrew... check this out and see if it works. I don't know how many people not getting emails are using Comcast... this may be the problem.

I just received my first newsletter in about 10 years.  I've had the same yahoo email address since '95 and I've been a CW customer since '96.

They fixed something here...

Sorry this is rubbish as I've explained earlier. The spam filter is NOT collecting this. I have my own mail server. I'm sure in some scenarios this may be the case but not in mine.

OK  I've done it again. I notice I can keep signing up forever if I go here (doesn't say you've already got my email address):

http://www.cakewalk.com/newsletter.aspx

Do we get an email confirmation? Still waiting if so.
(assume you need the email address to be verified and prove I'm not a bot (you must have massive false flag email address and spam if not), in direct contradiction you seem to even want us to log into these forums for some reason with a CAPTCHA! Would make sense during registration!)

Everything online here is extremely inconsistent (you've got a great product now please do yourself a favour and sort out your web). Are you sorting out the forums as well?

I've tried numerous times over several years to sign up to Cakewalk's newsletters. Never received a single one.

Just tried again. As usual, it thanks me and tells me I will continue to receive the emails I never receive.

This has nothing to do with spam filters - like Alex above I run my own mail server. Any spam filters are set by me, and on the domain I use for personal email and for "signing up" to the non-existent Cake newsletters, nothing gets deleted automatically.

All serial/invoice etc. emails do turn up. Newsletters - never seen a single one.

Sonar Platinum 64bit, Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit, I7 3770K Ivybridge, 16GB Ram, Gigabyte Z77-D3H m/board,
ATI 7750 graphics+ 1GB RAM, 2xIntel 520 series 220GB SSDs, 1 TB Samsung F3 + 1 TB WD HDDs, Seasonic fanless 460W psu, RME Fireface UFX, Focusrite Octopre.
Assorted real synths, guitars, mandolins, diatonic accordions, percussion, fx and other stuff.

No emails yet... and one problem is that I don't know when I am supossed to get one. I suppose I should have gotten one about the PC pug sale I saw in a stick post when I logged in here. FWIW, I re-entered my email yesterday... NADA.

Keep trying Andrew, whatever you did ... it didn't work. Everytime Cake tells me it is fixed, it isn't. Really... it is time for SOMEONE to get to the bottom of this. I just makes no sense that I get emails when I buy something but I get no newsletters or anything else. Why is it so hard to fix? I am starting to wonder if anyone really cares...

What's so funny about this is we all hate the constant bombardment of companies that are hawking the newest "deal", but we've had to be proactive to know what's going on with CW's marketing.

But now I'm thinking about upgrading to Z3TA.2  just because I'm tired of dealing with the FM8 and this comes with a free tutorial, lol.

I'm like a sitting duck where CW is concerned, because I'm more stubborn than I am loyal, and things change over 16 years, so the newsletters have been quite a tickle after about 9 years.
