They seem to have some kind of flaw with their marketing email system. I receive emails from them when I purchase a product and get registration codes, etc. But I never receive any emails announcing products or updates or special offers. I've contacted them abou this several times over the years. They say the problem is fixed but it never is. I don't get it. Nevertheless, I am still a loyal customer.

I've been assured I'm on the list...repeatedly, have signed up COUNTLESS times, but never see an email... I didn't even get the email telling me that my "FREE" upgrade to X2 was available...which I was supposed to get when it was ready for download... I had to find out from Andrews posting of the info here in the forum...so, if not for THIS forum.. I'd still be waiting for my "download instructions"....that's really not good...as not everyone frequents this forum... As long as the Content arrives in my account..as I said...I'm good....

We have just updated the Content Club page with information: http://www.cakewalk.com/p...ucer/content-club.aspx If you already upgraded to SONAR X2 Producer, the new Loopmasters title will appear in your store account on November 1st. If you purchase today, you will receive the DSF Symphonic Strings with your order and the Loopmasters title will also appear in your store account on November 1st. We are looking into the email issues and hope to figure out why some customers don't get them. -Andrew

Loopmasters currently already offers a free download of 10+ samples from each of their 121 artist series sample packs. That certainly sounds like Cakes description of "No less than 100 folders of Drums, Basses, Pads, FX, and Synths from a wide spectrum of styles. Over 1400 loops & one-shots (1.1GB)". So is this offer any different than what is already available? or are we just being convenienced with a single download? http://www.loopmasters.co.../show/56/Artist_Series

I think Sonar is a good value for the money. I would have gone for Pro Tools years ago, but they expected you to have special hardware to use their software. Cakewalk was more open and that worked with my limited budget. I think Sonar gives you a lot of value for your money and they have proved time and time again that they really listen to their customer. We know there is a lot of diversity in the music world and Sonar gives you the ability to play in many different musical styles. So I plan to stay with Sonar and look forward to a rich future in leading edge technology for making the kind of music I like.

I wrote a couple of email to the Customer Support. I hope they will be fast to solve the issues. Thanks Vincent.

Tried it again - are you supposed to get an email confirmation? I still get nothing (not even in my spam folder). Please advise. From what I see there still isn't a web page where you can see your newsletter subscription status, this is where it all falls down. I do not class the issue as fixed, this is very confusing. Sorry to be harsh Cake but you really need to up your game when it comes to the web (with this and the forums).
