"Lifetime" sounds good, but 225 is serious money when a yearly is closer to half that and my Sonar is still valid till March 2017.

even more hmmm.
I didn't get an email with a link, just the generic pre-announcement one... I just followed the link in the post above. But I'm logged into the store site, and have updated at top tier to every version since Sonar 5, including renewing my Platinum subscription a few months ago... so... if it's the direct link from the email that makes the difference, I'd be happy to get one!
the only difference I can think of is that I bought my Platinum renewal from a third party (JRR shop)... could this be the defining factor?
I'm afraid I'm in your boat. The same story (generic pre-announce e-mail yesterday) except that my third party renewal (on 01/17/16) was through AudioDeluxe. Mr. Rossa...could I have an e-mail too please? Thanks!

No no no........Cakewalk have made a deal with Microsoft who will release WindowsXI on June 1st. It will be a 256 bit operating system with Sonar embedded in it's core.
